OK Guys - the car started first time with new fuel on a jump start - i have pictures which show soem corrosion - underneath apparently is sound - i am going to see it this week - the owner - lovely chap in his 70's wants to know what I am willing to pay first - lets asumethis needs a respray and some proper TLC to get it back to scratch so that I can trust it to carry my youngest son about safely. On his limited budget of £9k once finished. So big question please - what should I pay for this car ?? Hi I have been trying to help one of my sons find his first Supra (completely standard Uk car - will have to be Auto with his budget) Keep missing great cars that sell in a day - last night £8995 owned for 12 years full history 100k miles went in 20 minutes BUT - have been offered a genuine car - owned past 5 years - but been left at back of a humidified garage - not run since 2012 - apart from dust layer - looks very good- totally unmolested - original twin turbo etc What are things to consider to get this running safely and within his budget pls folks? I assume majority of pipes will have cracked and need replacing , brakes (seized?) fluids and engine - any advice help hugely appreciated He has set heart on it and the seller has warmed to him and will deal at reasonable px - but would hate for him to not realise the potential cost and end up without a ride as he will be selling his car to fund this project cheers

Hmmm - seems you are right - my investigations discover they were SAS - then Tuning Japanese - then and now a new name - all same premises - same people too, just changed who runs the place. Thx for heads up

They seemed to have built t he car I am lookng at over a 4 year period (£60k of bills) which all look like they were printed yesterday - but hte car is immaculate - do you know whyy good Riddance ???

Does anyone know where I can go to start to think about changing stock dash & door inserts for Carbon look? Then I need to change current seats and re-intro some rear seats - does anyone make reasonably comfortable racing front seats and rears to match / leather or fabric? Much appreciated PW

While I was typing my last response didnt see Jurgen response - which obviously endorses what everyone on here says about him which I never doubted - Jurgen thank you - obviously a very professional and good man wanting to get owners into the cars that make them happy. I am now really confused and think the only cure can be alcohol and try and address again in the morning. Already great advice - thanks guys - I have driven drag Supra - fuel pump noise an irrelevance to be honest as the titanium exhaust so loud you cant hear it, my old supra made 700 bhp (flywheel) this thing was so much quicker and lost traction in 1st to 3 rd by then at about 140 time to assume it is quick enough - as I had more grey hairs than 6 seconds before They are very different cars - I would want to make Jurgens yellow supra much more outrageous and unsubtle - the Drag supra i just want to make bit more road friendly, but thats the look and performance i want. - Of course the Falken Supra he had probably answers all debates - but just too much money - I would not think Drag supra worth more than 20k in current form as such a narrow resale market and R35's so cheap now, compared to new. Jurgen gets so many good reports on here and elsewhere - I really value that - Anyone dealt with HJA? Lovely people and a stable of great cars

Hi I am new to forum but owned 700 bhp "cannonball run" supra for a while some years ago, jam looking to get back into big BHP car for occasional use. Jurgen at JM has nice yellow 700 bhp model ( anyone know the car?) But I am in love with Drag supra at HJA in Essex but think it is pricey despite spec Anyone have dealings with them or know the car?
