Im starting my DragonBall check list and wondering if someone can tell me if there is a way of checking if the oil and water pumps need changed. I have no issues with either (yet) but the engine i now have in the car had sat for 4 years un-started, changed the oil and filter and it did 5k miles last year with no issues at all. Would it be worth changing them along with the belt and possibly other parts ,depending on condition, now or wait till next winter when i plan to fully rebuild the engine?

Was it a really thin layer of clear coat you used? Ive noticed in the past using rattle cans you have to use heavy coats to the point it almost runs to get a decent finish, try rubbing them down with 2000grit next time aswell, that will ensure theres no high spots or trapped dust etc, nice smooth surface to finish on.

I was a member for a year before buying my supra which was found through use of the forum. Best £10 ever spent! If your willing to put into the club, it is recognised by other memebers and in some cases might even help in getting responses quicker etc.

The restrictor ring in the exhaust will hold the boost to 1bar, you dont need the fcd to run at 1bar as it cuts when boost exceeds that. Im running bpu @1bar with no fuel cut no boost controller only the restrictor ring in the exhaust and ive had no issues
