  1. Not a fan of the MR2, driven a couple and don't do it for me generally. Maybe go for a car that isn't jap may be another option, although the MX5 has got allot of thumbs up!
  2. What is peoples opinions on the Celica GT, I know its FWD but I already have it which makes it easier lol, plus toyota parts aren't a problem as my dads a mechanic and gets it all trade price. If its not suitable then I won't bother, but just like to know what people think?
  3. My local is Brandshatch and yeah I've seen, as well as heard that they are quite strict with black flags. I know BHP at Lydden hill is quite easy to jump on and doesn't cost the earth, £30 a turn is cheap and its at an event so you can see other cars, that's what I am looking for really. Rather than doing whole days, attend an event and jump on for a session that isn't going to cost the earth. Again with the Kleers evening event (was Kleers Wednesdays) at Brandshatch Its like £20 a session. Not going to Santa Pod so doesn't matter too much about speed, have heard MX5's are good. Do you need to kit them out with a roll cage, or extinguisher etc if you are only doing track days, not actual racing?
  4. Hi all, I am looking at doing some track days at events next year and wanted to know if anyone else does this and peoples opinions of the best cars to use! I want something cheap so if anything happens I won't be too upset, I have my Supra as a daily and wouldn't want to take that on a track just incase!! I also own a Celica GT 2.0 but not sure this would be great for a track, someone has suggested a MX5. Any help appreciated Also does anyone know any good track day events to go to in the UK? I know BHP Performance you can do up to 6 sessions for something like £30 each! Also Kleers Brandshatch are doing a November night time track session I believe.
  5. Thank you Saved me £15 which is better than nothing
  6. Hi, Apparently being a member of this forum means you can get a discount on the Zunsport Grille's on Ebay? Anyone else heard of this and/or have a code that I need to type? This is the one I want http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZunSport-Toyota-Supra-MK4-1993-1998-Black-Steel-Mesh-Lower-Centre-Grille-/201195938276?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ed83661e4 Thanks
  7. Exactly - - - Updated - - - Exactly
  8. Was that from Toyota? My dads a mechanic and gets trade, he also does allot of my paintwork already and don't want to keep bothering him really. A new scuttle isn't bad at that price I'll either go for that or a new paint job I think, thanks
  9. He never mentioned anything about the hockey sticks. What would I need to fully replace the side skirts? I like the look of the Ridox ones.
  10. He never mentioned anything about the hockey sticks. What would I need to fully replace them? I like the look of the Ridox ones.
  11. He said I need to buy the rear wheel air intake parts / side pods separate and then buy the oem side skirts, he said they would make the car look more wider, stock and classic? As its lowered. So slightly confused. Thank you I will check out the Ridox skirts and thanks for telling me they are called spats that's useful as I know what I am searching for then *still learning lol!*
  12. That looks lovely, did you have someone do that for you? How much did they charge. I have access to a garage etc but I am not a pro, I am a amateur lol
  13. Hi all, I am looking at getting new side skirts for my Supra as my ones are cracked beyond repair. My Supra is lowered and I had a friend suggest that I should get some OEM side skirts and rear wheel air intakes as this would make it look better? Rather than buying more aftermarket side skirts. Here's some photos of my car, what are your thoughts? Also where would I buy the skirts and rear wheel air intake? Could also do with the rear lower panel behind the back wheels replacing too.
  14. Hi all, I am sure this is a common problem as my friend had the same thing, but my windscreen scuttle panel is looking rough in its age. Has anyone refurbished theirs? I've seen a nice carbon fiber one on Whifbitz but trying to keep my car looking quite stock and classic. What has everyone else done, bought new ones, refurbished old ones etc? Thanks for your help :-)
  15. What modifications do they need? so the side ones should be fine and won't need modifications. Thanks, I'll have a look at getting them done. Don't like the orange look
  16. Found some on Ebay but they stated in the description that they only fitted the UK Spec and mine is an import. Haven't found any others....
  17. Got some Cobra seats coming soon (hopefully before Japfest), new OEM sideskirts and change my indicators. I am also going to do a full re-spray bit by bit. My Dad is a mechanic and does body work too, so me and him will be doing all the little dents and painting - - - Updated - - - Thanks
