Thanks for the kind comments guys Those who know the car will no that it has given myself and Mark (my son) some great times and memories over the last 4 years of ownership, unfortunately due to an onging divorce the time has come to pull in the purse strings. A very reluctant sale but hopefully just a temporary pause in Motoring enjoyment. Hope to see you all in the future. Dave PS. I would much prefer the car goes to someone who will appreciate it, therefore im not advertising it elsewhere for now.

Advice required please on the best way of doing this? Are we better off using a UK shipping agent or one based in China? Has anyone had experience with this? if so recommendations would be greatly appreciated, also what are the pitfalls to watch for? How is the shipping cost calculated? is it on size or weight? Again any help on the above or any other related items would be appreciated. Dave

The central locking works fine from the key but not the key fob? The alarm still sets from the key fob.....its a standard UK alarm btw.... Has anyone else had this? Dave

Thanks thats mine......... Was a bit gutted! Had to Q for over an hour to get my three run passes, had one crap run (bad start and spun half way up..... 13.4 sec) and then sat in the car for another hour trying to get on the strip again, so gave up. Not best pleased but had fun day, just wished id watched more now. Dave

With the auto box, what is the best way to check the level when hot? With engine running? After selecting various gears at standstill? After a run with engine running?? After a run with engine off for five minutes? Am never sure whatis the correcy method and should the level be very obvious on the dipstick? Dave

Following the recent blat at Bovingdon i found myself in need of two new rear tyres. So the hunt started, tyres required 2 x Goodyear Eagle F1's 275/30/19 Kwick Fit £350 each inclusive of VAT and fitting (needed to order) Black Circle £211 each inclusive of VAT PLUS fitting (needed to order) Hi Q £223 each inclusive of VAT and fitting (needed to order) Elite Tyres (Rainham Essex) £175 each inclusive of VAT and fitting (done same day) Just thought id share in case maybe it could save anyone a few quid. OK following Bovingdon a couple of weeks back i needed to get some new rear tyres These are 275/30/19 Goodyear Eagle F1's Kwick Fit wanted £350.00 per tyre Black Circle £211.00 per tyre plus fitting would have to order. Elite in Rainham Essex £175.00 inclusive of fitting and VAT per tyre, in stock done that day. I think thats quite a result.........
