for sale Red 1994 JDM 6-speed TT - 32,000 Miles
mick901 replied to mick901's topic in Supra Classifieds
Deposit taken. Thanks for the comments guys, I’ll miss it! Simo - only the spitter part is fitted mate (not the whole unit) so it’s always ‘down’. Some of the pics are from before I refitted it. -
Model: JDM TT6 (V160) OEM Plastic Skirts and Spats Year: 1994 Facelift: No Mileage: Around 52,000 KM.. 32,000 MILES MOT remaining: 11 Months (I think) Service history: Some from Japan (I think, would have to check) and from JM on import. Car's location: North East, UK. Modifications: BPU (Whifbitz kit), BC Racing Coilovers, Volk Racing GTP Daytona Wheels (10j rear), HKS Super Dragger. Unfortunately I’m looking at the possibility of selling what was my dream car as a kid, a red TT6. The car basically isn’t being used enough for me to justify having it and with my girlfriend wanting to start a family and such things, the toys have to go. I’d rather she went to be honest but this seems easier! The car is mint pretty much, imported a couple of years ago through Jurgen as a grade 4.5, who has seen the car recently and can vouch for it. It was imported with 49,000 KM in 2017 so has barely been driven on UK roads. Theres a couple of marks on the O/S/F wing which aren’t really noticeable so I’ve refrained from having that painted, and one of the skirts has a touch of paint flaking off on the underside. I’ll also point out that the two N/S wheels are scuffed, with the rear tyre having some of the sidewall ripped off.. blame my girlfriend, but aside from that the tyres (Pirelli P Zero) are just about brand new. I also have most of the bits left from when the car was BPU’d by JM if anyone was to take it back to near stock. PRICE £35,000 but I am open to offers, more so if it’s quick and painless!! Serious buyers only please. Please PM me if interested. Apologies for picture quality. The underside shots are from Jurgen when it was imported.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a working fuel pump control unit lying around? Car is a J-Spec TT. Cheers
-
Yeah I know, might dig them out over the weekend and take a few pictures, no use to me!
-
Is that how much they go for used, £300? I have a set in the back of the garage sitting doing nothing, in need of a bit of a refurb with some slight yellowing and peeling on a couple of the rings though. Bought new from Paul last year and it made a big difference and his service was spot-on.

Fury is a better fighter than people give him credit for. Decent speed, is comfortable and boxes well in both orthodox and southpaw stances which is rare in the division and whilst not being a huge puncher, he can dig. If you look at Wlad's most difficult fights, they were against southpaws so expect Fury to start that way and it'll be interesting to see Wlad against someone taller and with a reach advantage for once. I don't expect Fury to win, he doesn't have the chin to cope with the kind of power Klitschko has if they exchange, but he's a more interesting opponent than we've seen previous.

A reminder as to how dangerous these cars can be, or any car for that matter. Good crash though, it has to be said. Wishing you and the passenger a full recovery. The LFA is gorgeous.

The XXR's are 18X8.5 ET35 front and 18X9.5 ET35 rear. I had to put a 10mm spacer on the front and give the caliper a bit of a shave which is the main reason I'll probably be changing them when money permits, not comfortable with them. Those sizes would be fine on a car with J-Spec/smaller brakes but they struggled with my UK's on the front, rears will clear fine.

About time I updated this I think! Loving the car so far, everything I remembered from my dad having Supra's and more. Done a few things with it but nothing major, changed the wheels and put some XXR 531's on but I'll probably change those next year. Liking some of the Work wheels Driftworks have but not sure on which ones to go for, considering the Seeker FX but nothing decided yet; I've also added a few carbon fibre bits, Powerhouse Racing filler cap (also have the PHR billet gear lever), TRD strut brace on the front and Whifbitz strut brace on the back. Pics of some of those; Some new facelift headlights went in too and this is pretty much how she's sitting now; Unfortunately during winter someones fkn slate fell off their roof and onto my tailgate and rear quarter so I need that seeing to at some point along with a couple of other bits (need a facelift nearside front lower wishbone with a good ball-joint if anyone has anything?). I'm under strict orders from the girlfriend to save up though so certain things will have to wait. Apparently buying a house will be better than buying car parts women are strange.. Anyway I have my service bits coming from Opie Oils this week so that's my next job when I get a minute at work!

Ring walks are scheduled for around 4am. Expect Mayweather to win via decision, too clever and still very sharp, also expect him to be more aggressive than usual as well. I think for Pacquiao to win he has to stop him inside the first 4/5 rounds, ultimately he's struggled with counter-punchers in his career (JMM for example) and you'll struggle to find a better one than Floyd. At the same time though Floyd has struggled early with southpaws, so it's a very interesting fight. Looking forward to seeing Lomachenko on the undercard too, arguably the greatest amateur ever and won a world title in his 3rd pro fight. Some very good fighters coming out of Eastern Europe.

Got mine this morning, thank you Steve

Mine does this, find myself pressing the button every time I start the car!

Lovely it is as well Aye, will be sorting a smaller plate out once I've stuck a private reg on it. Thanks for comments, over the moon with the car

I thought as much when he led me a merry dance on my test drive down some dark alley and well, lets leave it there.. Not far at all, sometimes through that way now and again, never been to Crook though!

Seaham way mate, few miles outside of Sunderland. You? Thanks for the comments, seems like a lovely car! May get myself along to one of the meets if I get time one week

Thought I'd start a thread about my new car, picked it up from Sunny last weekend and having had a week to get used to the car I absolutely love it. Owning a Supra has been a long time coming! Great guy by the way, very helpful, so thanks to him and many thanks to Jurgen at JM-Imports after he gave me a refund on my deposit after nothing popped up in Japan and Sunny's car came back onto the market. Since getting the car I've changed the radio that was in it to a JVC double-din I bought from Halfords, just went for a cheap model as I'm not overly fussed about listening to music in the car but it improved the look of the inside. The car had been polished by a bodyshop while Sunny had it and unfortunately not to a great standard, there were a lot of swirl marks etc. on the paint which spoiled the look of it when in the sun, so I've given it a machine polish to the best of my abilities and it's came out quite nicely, better than I expected it to anyway. I only have the one picture at the minute but this is how it looked this morning after the cleaning and polishing; As far as plans go I'll probably leave the car as it is for a while, may look to get the seats re-trimmed in leather and I may change the wheels as I usually like a nice polished rim against black but for now I'm just going to enjoy her as she is

Very very upset, been ripped off and car is in a real state.

Sad to hear, being in the business myself I know all too well about garages that are happy to take your money without doing the job to even a decent standard. I doubt I'd be able to take it as level-headed as you have but I hope you get sorted and get her up and running again. I'd definitely go through the legal channels though and do what you can to get some of your money back. You might just want to move on and start again without the hassle of pursuing it but if you do get anything back it can go towards getting the job done properly this time. -
Well after having a think and talking to my old man this morning he's basically told me not to compromise on what I want, which has always been a black Supra, because I'll end up regretting it. I'm usually terrible for buying the first thing that catches my eye so I think I'll listen to him on this occasion and wait it out. Thanks for all of the advice, it won't be wasted and thanks to UFO for the offer If anyone knows of a nice black TT auto going for similar money let me know, my budget will increase with time as like I said the original plan was to purchase one in the latter half of 2014.

I'm in the north east so it's around a 2hr drive for me I think. If you could I'd be over the moon but don't worry if not mate
-
Many thanks for the tips, especially Scooter much appreciated. I'll have a think over the weekend and probably try and have a look at it once it's ready. I have a very experienced mechanic who would come with me along with my brother who is a mechanic and MOT tester, so that should minimise any mistakes that could be made.
-
He replied to a message I sent saying the car drives fine and the interior is excellent but had a couple of scuffs on the bumper and a blister on one of the rear arches, but said they'd be getting sorted this week and would be in superb condition. Don't have a lot of experience with Supra's aside from my dad having a couple years ago. I work in a garage but is there anything out of the ordinary I need to look for if I go and have a look?

Looking to buy my first Supra, ideally in the summer but have came across this on PistonHeads - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/1994-toyota-supra-3-0-twin-turbo--auto--jdm-import-model/1906598 Does anyone know the car or have an idea of its condition? The price kind of attracts me and puts me off at the same time, it'd need work aesthetically to get it how I'd like, but I'm more concerned about the mechanics of it. Thanks.

Looks a lovely car that but I won't have the money for a few months unfortunately, aside from the colour it's exactly the kind of thing I'll be after! Thanks for the welcome everyone

Hello all, thought I'd introduce myself. Currently drive a Corolla T-Sport but my insurance changes when I turn 25 at the end of the week so I'll be looking for a Supra in a few months (once I sort my money out), probably an NA which I'll have converted to a TT later, if all goes well. My dad had a MK3 in red and later a MK4 in black years ago so I've always had a thing for them, didn't speak to him for a few days when he came in and said he'd sold his MK4! Not really up to speed on what kind of prices they're going for these days but I'll probably have £3-4k to spend, preferably on a manual in black.. Is it possible to pick a nice one up for that money? Michael.
