  2. Hi going to replace a/c condenser at the weekend, so might as well change cam belt and do engine service, so removing quite a few components, any tips or advice appreciated.

    Hi having a go at carbon wrapping in vinyl, not sure so asking for opinions, This could be interesting
  5. Bought a ctek, thanks chaps, very pleased great bit of kit.
  6. Hi got this of flea bay £20, it has a plug and play loom for supra, but I'm guessing its a early one, as the connector of my ignition barrel is different. My question does anybody have the wiring instructions, I have a red , green and blue wire plus two earths, also a sesperate plug with orange white and purple, these don't look like they were ever connected. Any help appreciated, maybe the same as other blitz timers.

  12. Started at 120 grit, down to 1000 grit, then on the polishing wheel course and fine.
  13. Got a polishing kit coming, but to be honest did most at work,
  14. Hi, took them to work Hot wash first Then cleaned in safety clean Then ultrasoniced, in tricoethelalene. Works well.
  15. Hi just thought I would share a few pics, been polishing my spare set of turbo pipes, (thanks to Dave r, for donating said pipes) Before. First deep clean. First pipe, grind down casting marks, Finer grit rubbing down. finally polished, just a few marks to go, dam my ocd. Just all the others to go,oh and the inlet manifold and throttle body
  16. Hi after two weeks of working on my car, clean and polish and a few pics to share.

Hi I have just completed changing my discs,pads , fitted braided lines and painted callipers, the pins in my front calipers were seized, took quite a bit of work and heat to remove, callipers pistons also needing freeing up, brake pipe into flexi was also very difficult to undo, soak for 24 hours with wd40,. Use a proper 10mm brake pipe spanner and heat , be patient or you will be replacing brake pipes as well! If I can be of any assistance let me know I live in rugby. I re used my pins and anti squeal shims.

Hi fitted some braided brake line yesterday, all went well, untill it came to bleeding, all bled except rh rear, after investigating this, i found the new banjo on the hose had not been drilled, the company is sending replacement, just very annoying. worth checking if your fitting braided lines.
