  1. I tried to join the PureJDM forum ahead of coming down for a meet, but the request is still pending with a mod?
  2. I got mates rates, so best bet is to contact Adam directly through the info on the website. He's a really nice guy and his work is absolutely top notch
  3. You may want to make up a batch if these so they're ready for the 'can you make me one?' posts
  4. Here's a quick car park snap to show the rear from a different angle. Sorry it's not that clean!
  5. No one in Peterborough It's a company called East Cote Customs based in, well, East Cote. It's near Solihull. Run by a friend of mine, so I may seem a little biased, but I've always very highly rated his work. They've turned out some stunning cars. Not a great website, but you can find the details here: http://www.eastcotecustoms.com
  6. Can't afford a set of those. Would much rather spend the money on performance
  7. I love the 1A1. Seems it might be a bit of a marmite colour, but I think it looks really great on a Supra
  8. Another smoothy here A couple of skydiving ones on the rear window, but that's it.
  9. Just picked up the Supra from the body shop. It had already been de-spoilered, but there were grommets in the holes. Whilst sorting out a bit of rust, i've had them properly smoothed out and took the opportunity to de-badge at the same time. Also, the very dull bumper has been re-sprayed. What do you think?
  10. I'd rather not use a square plate to be honest. Prefer the look of the UK rectangle. Thanks, will give my local dealer a shout and get one ordered
  11. Thanks both, will have a look at those
  12. That's what I'm worried about Somewhere in the back of my head says I could replace just the seal, but I guess that might just be wishful thinking...
  13. I've developed what seems to be a common area of rust on the bottom corner of the rear OS area of the back window (the big one). It's not terrible, but needs sorting and a body shop I've used loads before is going get it done. The black trim / seal that goes all around the window seems very hard now - as I imagine it would after 19 year - and i'm concerned that when he uses the picks to try and hold it back to do the repair, it will either damage, or not move enough. I've done a lot of searching, but am unable to get clarification on the following: The rear window is bonded in, so is that black outer seal replaceable independently of the window? What's the best way to remove it, if you can remove it without removing the rear window? What's the likelyhood of breaking the glass? How easy is it to get / fit a replacement seal? Thanks
  14. Here's a noodle scratcher. If i'm in an area of weaker FM signal, applying the brake completely cuts the reception out. Lift the pedal and it comes back. I've had a look, and there appears to be no broken cable wrapped around the brake pedal. It's an aftermarket HU, but can't see how that would make any difference? Has anyone ever experienced something similar or is this just going to be one of those odditys i'll never understand?
  15. I have a J spec TT and a teeny tiny - illegal - front plate. Size wise i'm guessing the holder would take a UK square plate, but I want a standard plate. Where's the best place to get a front UK plate holder? Is it something a main dealer could still get hold of, and what kind of money is likely to be? Thanks
  16. Hello all, I've done some extensive searching on the subject, but seem to get conflicting views. I have a 94 TT Auto GZ. Was remote central locking a standard fit item? I've checked under the drivers seat and there is no control box, but there are a couple of trailing cables that have been taped up. Is it likely there was remote CL and the control box has just been removed? If so, is it a case of just getting hold of a control box / keys and fitting / programming? If so, anyone know where I could get the bits and how to fit? Thank you in advance. Macca
  17. Surely this would fall under the Sale of Goods Act? What has been sold / provided is not fit for purpose and has not lasted for a reasonable amount of time?
  18. I've bought it from a fellow member here - Ben San. Will get some additional pics up when I pick it up tomorrow night
  19. Ouch! Anyhow, great news. I have bought a Supra and cannot wait to pick it up
  20. Thanks all for the replies. Will see if they reply to the PM, then if not, will splash the cash. So excited by the prospect of finally being able to hopefully become a Supra owner
  21. How many posts do I need to have to reply to threads in the classifieds section? Seen a couple of cars that I'm interested in, but it won't let me post? Have PM'd one of the sellers, but no reply, so would like to reply on thread to see if it catches his attention.
  22. Actually, technically that's not accurate. There was a 1 Series 120D M Sport, but that was waaaaay less fun.
  23. Thanks for the speedy warm welcome everyone, it's really appreciated Yes, after a TT. I need to read up, but i'm not entirely sure why anyone would buy the N/A? Last turbo car I owned. A truly ugly beast, but the performance was fantastic
  24. Hello all, Long time Supra lover, first time forum poster. Have never managed to actually own a Supra, but have always adored them. Have had various turbo and tuned cars, the last being an Impreza I built for track use. Finally, i'm getting old and am in a position to buy a Supra. Am looking at the classified section, but it's not letting me post replies. Hopefully posting here first will let me I will go and look at the usual FAQ's before asking silly questions, but apologies in advance if I do! Thanks Macca
