  1. Hi all, I’ve got all my interior parts out and I’m in the process of flocking it! Anyone else done this? Any hints and tips? My dash so far...
  2. Ideal. Got an answer on Facebook the same time you replied. Thankyou. Shame the forum seems to be running in the shadow of social media rather that the front runner info and parts wise these days
  3. Hi all, Can anyone point me in the right direction?... I have a 97’ switchover supra so facelift dash etc but non vvti engine. I’ve bought a speedm8 kmph to mph converter from NCS, I’ve got an Apexi power fc ecu for my HKS big single turbo set up. So the ecu sorts the delimiter side of things out. I’m simply looking to wire the converter in so that 1. It reads in mph rather than kmph 2. The analogue odo reading starts going up in miles rather than Km. The wiring instructions NCS Give are leaving me at a bit of a loss. I’ll put a photo up of said instructions. What wires do I need to tap into to utilise the converter side of the speedm8? Help is much appreciated! Thanks, Jay
  4. Hi, noticed that the link to the photos only shows the decats, do you not have the full exhaust, I.e. midpipe and end can (cat back system)? - - - Updated - - - Hi, noticed that the link to the photos only shows the decats, do you not have the full exhaust, I.e. midpipe and end can (cat back system)? - - - Updated - - - Sorry, my bad, you have to click “more photos” to see the rest
  5. Hi, interested in this kit, how does it look when fitted? Any photos? Thanks, Jay
  6. Completely agree, the only reason I haven’t done this is because I’m on my 6th odd strip down and know where everything goes. A worthwhile comment that!
  7. I found fitting the sound deadening quite therapeutic, although cleaning panels before applying it as I went was rather painful with a billion ‘paper cuts’ from the sound deadening edges! How much of a difference has yours made to road noise etc Ric?
  8. Another post here for anyone with questions about this process or similar. I’m stripping out the interior completely to fit dodo dead mat sound deadening, route any aftermarket wiring, gauges neater and in way of doing a full interior alcantara covering. The dodo dead mat and tools have cost a total of about £200. The alcantara material from Martrim will Come in at about £600 including adhesives etc. I found that the dash, as daunting as it seems comes out really easily, but I think that it will be the hardest piece to get right when covering with the alcantara. Here are some photos of the process. Any questions welcome ]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200201/2f811cd66a83c6f564ab3459f762e98c.jpg[/img] Pro
  9. Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that the forum has been a bit quiet lately, so as I’m doing a fair strip down of my supra currently I thought I’d add in here what I’m doing and give anyone with questions the chance to air them This post I’ll keep to the fitting of polybushes all round. I bought the full kit from whiffbitz for a tad over £700 and will be buying the additional anti roll bar bushes and diff bushings shortly. I decided after removing the ball joint boots that the ball joints themselves were barely worn and that I’d save the mega bucks on replacing with new arms by fitting new boots and repacking with fresh grease. A note to all, the arms are not too bad to remove... however the bushes are VERY hard to remove. I’ve bought, borrowed and stolen many tools and equipment to get the old bushes out. Soaking in petrol is my preferred method as it really loosens the rubber up. Here’s a few photos of the process on the rear drivers side. Pro
  10. I’m just simply asking what’s he’s requested. I thought this might cause some conflict.
  11. Could this advert be deleted please. New owner wishes to advertise it on here. Thanks
  12. offhand, if I’m moving bits around in the bay, will I need the longer throttle cable option (found on future motorsports site for the ssi intake) or can I reroute the oem cable to fit ok?
  13. Mike, hats off to you, this is the exact feedback I was looking for. Good comparison video too. As I’m not on a built motor “yet” I won’t be revving too high, so basically I’m expecting to loose some low end torque in place of a better looking engine bay. I can live with that. I’m leaning towards the np boosted (although I’d most likely paint it to suit the aesthetics of the rest of my engine bay. Thanks again
  14. Mostly for the Aesthetics... I want it to look different and have as many pipes hidden as possible, I plan on tucking wires and doing a slight bay smooth. It want the intake side to be as much of a statement as the turbo side.
  15. Hi all, I’m taking my engine out as part of a freshen up over winter, while it’s out, I’ve decided to go for an aftermarket inlet manifold, I’m not looking at one of the “bolt on” eBay jobbies for £200... through eBay, there is a few from Australia “wildcat industries” for around £600 and the “np boosted” ones form canada.... that’s more my budget region. Can’t really justify a plasmaman one for £1200+ I’m Currently running GTE hks t04z full single turbo kit Has anyone got any feedback on what one to go for?
  16. Ideal, keep your eyes peeled for my initial post
  17. Looking to document my strip down/rebuild/refresh this winter but no button on the project section to post my thread. How do I go about it?
