Yeah, the forum seems really quiet lately. I haven’t got it advertised anywhere else, as I know Facebook can be a nightmare with jokers, gumtree give your number to call offices and you get an abundance of sales calls shortly after posting. Autotrader charge silly money for a short term listing. Added to the fact forum members seem to take better care of cars when bought through here. I’d be devastated if my supra got wrecked shortly after sale. Appreciate the nice comment on the paint it’s really renewed the look. I just can’t believe how much better it handles after changing all the bushes on the underside. Well worth the time, money, blood, sweat and tears (yep, all of them). 040 is definitely my favourite. Helps to be in line with the vin plate too. All matching... with the added bonus of some real power from the quality single turbo kit.

It’s currently mapped to 1 bar of boost, making 600bhp and 480ft/lbs. this can be easily tweaked again for more boost pressure and see higher figures with no other mods needed but I like to run it safely and the current power is more than enough for me. Fully reconditioned suspension, all arms have been polybushed with super pro. All ball joints have been checked and serviced. New rubber boots all round, new MOOG drop links front and back. All arms cleaned up and treated with DYNAX S-50. It’s just come out of a full window out respray in oem Toyota 040 super white. All panels were removed, spayed inside and out, all under panels/framework painted before panels were refitted. Jacking rails straitened, protected and painted. Window enclosures, door seals, boot shut, everywhere you’d expect to have fresh paint has been done. Even the bonnet underside that’s hidden by the heat shield has had fresh paint. New rear 3/4 windows fitted. The supra is mint. No scratches, blemishes or swirl marks. Paint was carried out 2 weeks ago. Good bits: It’s a factory 6 speed in factory colour, has a well known brand full single turbo kit with all the needed extras fitted. It’s got relatively low mileage. It has 170-175 psi across all cylinders with proof. It’s had a bucket load of money spent on high end parts in the last year, the majority of them being brand new so won’t need replacing any time soon. It has the usual refinements, such as black headlining, black carpet, black oem leather front seats, and I have the original airbag to go with the car as it’s been replaced with the genuine hks electronics gauge pod. It’s been to SRD with Lee for the cams, cambelt, pulleys, waterpump, tensioner, mapping. Along with some other bits such as the cam covers being fully cleaned and painted, intercooler pipework modification. Receipt here for £3,000 Engine bay has not been painted as it was my winter project to take engine out and tuck wiring etc where the bay could be painted properly. I have done around 3000 miles since owning it, in this time it’s had 3 services, carried out by myself using Mobil 1 engine oil and oem oil and fuel filters. I am the first U.K. owner and have owned it since April 2017. Bad points: Driver and passenger windows are scratched, (I may have this sorted before sale) Driver side door card needs reflocking ideally. The usual noises that come with an uprated clutch... noises never change or get worse and I’ve been told over and over that it’s completely normal. Only reason for sale is that I’ve found another car I’d like and feel is a suitable replacement for the supra. If this car advertised that I’m after is sold before I get chance to buy it then I will remove the supra from sale. Feel free to pm me with any questions. P.s. I think I may be out of the 14 day period now, I had it insured after not driving it for 8 months odd, then had some niggles to sort in the garage. Not to worry, I’ll roll with it for now. Anyone here with a similar spec supra mind sharing their agreed values?

They went back and forth with the underwriter when I brought it up, the conclusion was that £28k was the limit. I’ve already taken out the policy. Guess I’ll have to lump it and hope that nothing untoward happens to the supra over the next year. This post was more to see if anyone else has been met with a similar situation regarding agreed values.

Would anyone following this be happy with an agreed value of £28k? I was hoping to set it at £32k myself but sky wouldn’t go for it. £28k, as you can imagine doesn’t cover the cost of the car and what I’ve put into it.

Ended up taking screen shots of the photos, which has obviously lessened the quality. Hopefully not so much so that it detracts from the awesome new paint job!

I haven’t got use of a laptop or desktop computer. I’ve always managed fine with my iPhone... for everything. Seems like the forum is still in the dark ages with respect to issues like this.

I’d love the newer r8 v10 with a charger strapped to it... unfortunately, I don’t have £100k+ laying around I’d say my top budget (including selling the supra) would be around £45k. Shame I can’t find an older shape v10 spyder to force my hand

Krista and I are heading past castle motors today... may have to see what they’ve got in stock and go for a test drive or 2... I’d say a max budget of around £40k.

600bhp @ 1bar, so not overly uncomfortable... but some of the more modern cars that you can still put your foot down in and burn rubber whilst being super comfortable is becoming quite appealing. My supra having the work that’s been done and the noises that come with the territory are becoming more of an annoyance as the days go on. I’d say a max budget of £40k if I sold the supra and added some dollar in wouldn’t quite land an r8 v10... and the v8 just wouldn’t do it for me... someone in the work car park already has one.

Hi all, Now that my supra is almost finished, I’m contemplating a more driver friendly prestige motor, maybe an r8 v10 or r35 GTR... As many others on here seem to feel the same, every now and then I think about selling my supra to have less of a garage queen more comfortable weekend driver... What would you guys buy in place of your supra?

If I had the money spare I’d have this back in a heartbeat. Cleanest supra I’ve ever owned and seen infact.

I can’t believe this hasn’t sold yet. Stupidly clean car this.
