  1. I've already checked for vacuum leaks but I will have a right look tonight just to make sure. I'm hopping I don't have to mess with the throttle position sensor. I did read a thing on testing the sensor.
  2. I've taken the intercooler pipe off and opened the throttle up and it looks pretty clean inside. Could it be the throttle position sensor or something? I don't want to mess with it to much incase I screw up the settings.
  3. Ok cheers! I will need to give that a try
  4. Hi folks! Help needed, my 96 supra starts fine and idles fine on warm up, but once warmed up the idle is just up and down! I cleaned the idle control valve but still does it. It's very annoying! Is there anything else I can try or look for that's fairly simple?
  5. I have the same problem up here in orkney! At least you are on the mainland! Lol. I use GI motorsport, they are good!
  6. Yes I will try a good run and see what happens. Will maybe be changing the ecu eventually to something that offers a bit more!
  7. It's a link G3 ecu. I don't have a clue, It was mapped by GI Motorsport in Glasgow. I took the air filter off to clean it and never put it back on as I was just starting it to let it run. Could that have been anything to do with it? I must take it a right run as it's not had one for a while, maybe that's all it needs.... Hopefully!
  8. The plugs are just new in. It's a single turbo, but it has been sitting for around 4 months so maybe just needs a good run?
  9. Hi folks, looking to see if anyone can help with my supra idle problem. Basically it starts fine and idles good when it's warming up but when it is upto temperature the revs slowly and gradually drop right down until the point when you Rev and let off it drops right down and engine stops. I've cleaned the idle control valve. Any ideas would be very much appreciated
  10. I can still return them so I'm thinking HKS/whifbitz or Titan.
  11. I already have them in blue, it was my girlfriend that bought them for me and I just want to make sure they will be ok. I would normally have gone for a brand. At least if I'm putting a clear cam cover on I can keep a eye on them etc.
  12. Im curious to know whats the difference between HKS cam pulleys and these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-CHASER-MK4-MK3-1JZ-2JZ-ADJUSTABLE-ENGINE-CAM-VERNIER-PULLEY-SET-/230861020192?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ASupra&hash=item35c0639c20
  13. That's one hell of a tidy build! I want that spark plug cover!
  14. Keron just sold me one! cheers for the help
  15. Where can I get a lid for the small square relay box? It's missing and all I see on the internet is ones that cover a lid that's already there!
  16. Yes I think it caused a bit of a headache to start with due to some one who had been in the guts of it at some point but they got it sorted
  17. I want a lot done but won't be for a little while as am building a house next year but I might manage something. I'm wanting to change the clutch, but I'm sure someone could do that here. The main reason I want to take it down South is to get a meth injection kit fitted, need it due to the crap fuel here!
  18. I do enjoy it, nothing better than getting out of the house at nights to work on the pride and joy I'm ok with very basic things, just need to learn! Which is not a problem with this forum!
