  1. You should try it, the beach is fantastic. Unfortunately the tide was out the two weeks we were there. Who the hell would go to Saudi on holiday anyway?
  2. Lost by a nose apparently. Was in the lead in the final furlong. Unlucky. http://horses.sportinglife.com/Full_Results/0,12493,260194,00.html
  3. Sounds right to me. There's loads of K reg ones.

  5. Huh? Fitting a delimiter does not mean you cannot also fit a DSC.
  6. The plastering sounds expensive to me. I had my downstairs hall, all up the stairwell and all around the upstairs landing replastered for £300. Took the guy two days to do it (probably about one day of actual work what with all the arriving late, leaving early and tea drinking).
  7. Easynews. It maxes out any connection.
  8. Is that all? 2.6MB/Sec here (2,662.4 KBps)
  9. I've recently upgraded from 4meg to 20meg and it's brilliant. I can download a 4.7gig dvd in about 40mins. And they're upgrading me to 50meg in June for no extra cost!
  10. Are you saying I'm not a good kitchen fitter? Yeah, I was told they're the same as MFI stuff. Why is 21mm chipboard better than 18mm? If 18mm is adequate, which it is IMO, what's the point of 21mm?
  11. I've done a couple of Howdens kitchens and TBH the quality isn't great. As Jamie says, the carcasses come pre-built, with is great for the fitter, but apart from that I wasn't at all impressed with them. Didn't seem any better than B&Q units to me.
  12. "Location: Scotland" Told ya!
  13. Sorry, I didn't mean to hi-jack and wasn't bragging (I don't think it's clever to earn a bit more but have zero job security). I was just saying that £330 per week seems very poor for a job that requires a university degree when spuds like me with no qualifications can earn a fair bit more. The thread-drift continued because I answered questions people then asked me. Perhaps I should have ignored them? Can't win either way.
  14. How do you mean cuts off? (I don't know anything about tax (or pensions or mortgages, I'm basically rubbish at money management))
  15. I want to be test pilot for Stella Artois. Can you find me owt?

    Beginners Luck!

WTF was Bendtner doing? The Arsenal would have won if Bendtner hadn't blocked his own team mate's shot! What about Chelski then? Fenerbahce were 29-1 to win after Chelsea got the first goal!
  17. Ah, you're probably assuming I work 5 days a week, actually I only work 7 days a fortnight, so it's a lot less £ than you thought. I'm just a IT spud mate, same as most of the guys on here back when I first joined. We seem to have a much broader, what's the word, demographic(?), now though. I'm a contractor though, so get a bit more per day but no paid holiday or sick pay or pension etc etc. It's not all it's cracked up to be, TBH.
  18. Well only from Ashley. I shadowed him for a month before taking over his duties and he swanned off to his new team. It wasn't technical training though, just showing me the ropes as to how this company do stuff; 'cos every company's procedures are different, of course.
  19. I've never driven an e36 so can't comment. My e46 is pretty quick but you have to work the engine to get the best out of it; max power isn't until 7900rpm (I think that's right), so you have to keep the revs up if you want to make some rapid progress. What do you mean by 'holding'? The handling? The handling on mine is fantastic, much better than any Supra I've driven. Try the e46 Paul, you might like it. Go for a proper one though, you know; with a roof. The Wendyhouse ones are for poseurs
  20. A WEEK ??? You're kidding? I earn more than that per day and I don't have an o-level to my name let alone a degree.

    Help with supra

I don't know the car but I know Supras. Some points to note . . . PEARL white is not a standard colour. Does this mean the car has been fully resprayed? It doesn't have a full Bomex bodykit - the rear bumper is Trial (or a copy) and the rear spoiler is stock. White leather interior sounds horrible The matching (white leather?) dash sounds even worse. What does "clear lens" mean? Facelift headlights? Looks OK. Worth a look. Although it seems over priced IMO especially seeing as it's in white, which isn't a good colour for Supras - again IMO. HTH
  22. Hey don't quote me, Jeremy! I was sticking up for you! It was juanchan that was suggesting you were making £2500 on the deal.
