  1. Most people feel sorry for her anyway, nothing to do with cars!
  2. I went to see Andy at Horndean Accident Repair Centre this afternoon. He said you'd been in contact. He was too busy to do a quote for me today but said he'll get started on Monday if I leave the m3 with him.
  3. The bungee cords do a pretty good job of securing the bumper actually. The whole thing slides on and off, if you can stop it sliding backwards it shouldn't come off, hence the bungees I wouldn't like to test it at my usual speeds though. The other Beemer is the one Pig has sorted out for me until the m3 is fixed. I think I'll just tidy it up as much as possible. Would be a shame to modify one of the few black 6sp TTs left. I want to get rid of the caravan style foglight and I'm planning on fitting an active front spoiler and maybe some stock leather seats but I don't want anything non-original on it - ie nothing it couldn't have come with from the factory.
  4. Welcome back? I haven't been without a Supra since March 2003 mate The grey one on my drive is the RZ Auto mentioned in my Sig.
  5. The owner, a Mr Yokoyama, moved over here from Tokyo ten years ago and bought the Supra straight away. He's had it ever since. But he's sold up now and is flying back on Sunday to live in Japan again, so he needed a quick sale.
  6. Just got home with it. Seems like a good car. Still got the 112mph limiter on and the speedo is still in KHM. The Odometer is actually on 55,000 Kms so that's about 34k miles. The body work needs a bit of love. Having lived in London for the last 10 years it's got plenty of small dings here and there but nothing I can't get sorted out, hopefully. In addition to the UK brakes and OE Toyota CD player I was pleased to find it also has elec flippy mirrors. It needs a good clean and general tidy up but here's a few snaps, as promised.
  7. Not yet mate. The pics in the advert were very poor. I'll get some up tomorrow. Apologies if folks thought I'd bought some monster but I'm quite excited about owning a bog-standard Supra. In all my years of Supra ownership I've never actually driven a completely stock one. Must be quite a rare beast nowadays.
  8. I haven't bought the one in the picture above that everyone is admiring. As far as I can tell only Scooter is talking about the car I've bought. Mine is a 95 pre-facelift 6sp TT. Not as nice as the one above TBH. It's NOT this one :
  9. Yep! You should see it mate, it's like 100% stock ! Genuine 35k miles, the guy has all the old MOT's. 1 owner since it was imported like 10 years ago. UK specs brakes from new. It was a steal ! I tried to phone you about it but no reply.
  10. I've had a blue one: RSP single 6sp I've had a red RZ auto I've had a white Tiptronic. I've never seen a stock purple or orange Supe. :Cookie: We have a winner!
  11. Good guess, I like that car a lot. Sadly not though.
  12. Me in an aerotop? No chance. I hung up my medallion and chestwig long ago.
  13. It's not. It's a stock colour but one I haven't had before though.
  14. Will post pics when I get home. Anyone want to guess?
  15. Thanks for all your help today Jon - Top geezer!
  16. Jake

    Italian Restaurant

They're not. Maybe that's why Beattie is so shite and Scumhampton aren't in the Premiership now.
  17. It's a Bomex BigMouth bumper
  18. I did get it Jon, thanks. Called you a couple of times today but no reply. I have the reg number
  19. What are the Pros and Cons of using a claim management company? What will they do for me over and above what my insurance company will do? Obviously I'd like the least hassle possible and a decent loan car. What happens if you use a claim management company and it ends up getting judged to be 50/50 or your fault? (Not that I can see how anyone could make this my fault - but you never know)
  20. I've just phoned the police and was told that you definitely do not have to report an accident in which nobody was injured as long as contact details were exchanged. Apparently you're not obliged to supply insurance details either.
  21. Hmmm. This isn't good. I've spoken to the guy 3 times today trying to get his insurance details. He keeps promising to call me back with the details but never does. I'm getting seriously pi55ed off now.
  22. What's your number Jon ?
  23. How long did it take before they saw or collected the car? How long before you got a courtesy car?
