  1. You're back early from your Stag Night matey. I thought you'd be naked in a British Rail mail bag on your way to aberdeen with a one way ticket and no money by now!
  2. According to my credit card statement I spent £505.95 on petrol last month! I only drive to work and back really!

    NA-TT underway

You can definitely take the engine and gearbox out together, and put them back in without needing that bar or touching the front crossmember with the lump. I've done it few times now. ETA: I'm talking about a TT lump but I can't see the NA one being any bigger.

    Nice wheels! Lol

Maybe I was a little harsh. To be fair there are many tastefully modified Supras in the Southampton area. No, really.
  5. Spacers are indeed an option but not ideal really. Yes, lots of folks have had the same problem.

    Bye supra....

Stick around Marco! Member #634 - You're one of the old school. I bet you can remember the good old days, before I joined.

    Nice wheels! Lol

Good grief. He must be a laughing stock round his way. Ah, my mistake. As you were.
  8. Looks horrible but for 2k... hey! Pay nothing till you see the car and don't be afraid to walk away if you don't like it in the flesh. People will try to tell you that winning an eBay auction is legally binding but it definitely is not.
  9. "Previous appointment". Tell him you're starting Adult Literacy classes.

  11. Not sure what you mean Pete? I never said it wasn't worth more than I paid, did I? I really liked the car actually but I've just got too many cars. We don't have the room for me having having three cars, not with Teresa and Charlotte both having cars too. So I'm downsizing, possibly getting rid of all 3 cars (the other Supra and the M3) and getting one decent car. As you know Steve I've been considering a 911 for some time, maybe now is the right time. I've had a couple of facelift TT Supras (both VVTi ones) but not bought one recently. Not sure what one you're thinking of.
  12. I think you'll find they are 10" wide rather than 10.5" actually mate. Nice wheels though and a good price.
  13. You're welcome mate. Glad to see you made it home OK. Drives alright doesn't it? Apart from the weird way the clutch has been adjusted so it doesn't bite until your knee is touching your chin. I see what you mean but I'm not the Supra Preservation Society. I said I wouldn't mod it myself but I can hardly dictate to the new owner what he can and can't do to it, can I. Besides, I'm sure Jamie will make a very nice job of it and I for one can't wait to see what he does with the car.
  14. I may have made a couple quid, Gaz Jamie is cool though, he doesn't care what I paid for it, to him the car is worth what it's worth. I bet a lot of folks wouldn't have bought it for what it's really worth just because I made no secret about what I paid for it.

I'll have to show you my scars one day
  16. I'm glad it's gone to Jamie. Can't wait to see what he does with it.
  17. Cheating? How so mate?
  18. Nope, not Branners.
  19. I've just sold my black tt6 to another long standing club member. Any guesses who?
  20. I heard a rumour there was a Supra on "Police... Camera... Action" too. Not sure if anyone's seen it though?

You thinking of my DIY Surgery ones?

    Earliest memory

I must've been 4 years old, maybe 5. My parents were renovating a house. They had started removing the staircase, my dad jumped down a few feet to the ground level and a four inch nail went through his left foot. For a while after that when he used to drive anywhere he would work the clutch pedal with a crutch and I used to move the gear lever for him.
