As Nic says, it's load (resistance) dependant. How much pressure (boost) could you make in your gob when blowing out though a straw? Loads, right? Now, how much pressure could you make when blowing though a bog roll tube? example>

Just to make myself clear.... I believe the panels would physically fit in place of the pre-facelift ones as long as you changed the whole set. You'd want to retain the pre-facelift top section (Odo etc) though.

The reason I said there's something wrong is/was because 536 RWHP (so around 600hp at the flywheel) at such low revs is almost unheard of. Then you said it has 272 cams too, which don't exactly promote early spooling either. Just doesn't make sense to me Also I was asking what you meant by 2.5JZ thinking that maybe you meant you had one of those 2500cc affairs, which would have made it even more unlikely. Any road, you've corrected some of those things now, so it's bit a more credible. TBH mate, I don't think you're going to do any better than you already have. If what you're saying is correct, you already have any amazing setup which would be very difficult to improve upon.

I can't imagine which bolts you mean. Can you explain more? You can't put a helicoil into sheet metal, it needs some 'meat'.

So it's making around 600 HP at just 4600rpm with 272 cams? Something isn't right here.

What is a 2.5JZ then? You aren't realistically going to get 536whp from a GT40 let alone a GT38, certainly not at such low revs.

Unless you're changing the fuel pressure I can't see why the stock FPR wouldn't be perfectly good enough.

If (when) Fred defaults on the repayments it won't be a black against you - provided that you then take over the repayments and clear the debt in full. The loan company or their agents won't even bother chasing Fred too hard when he starts missing payments, they'll come to you. The only link is that you have agreed to take on Fred's debt if/when he doesn't pay it. His loan becomes your loan, and obviously your credit rating will suffer if you don't repay (what has now become) your loan. If you do pay it off in full everyone is happy, especially Fred.

Be realistic. You're not going to make it as a jet pilot. You don't even have the starting qualifications yet. It's nice to have a dream but try to make it something you have a chance of achieving.
