  1. They are helping them, with your money!
  2. I've decided on my serious answer .... Bill Hicks. I'd love to hear what he made of things today.
  3. Two man job though, shelves. I recommend the father, the son and the holy spirit level.
  4. Possibly so. I think his subsequent actions qualify him for the title.
  5. Chris Foster - so I could kill the arsehole myself.
  6. My old blue VVTi had a CF OEM wheel, which does look good but TBH I prefer the feel of the standard VVTi all leather one. Also, when the car's been parked in the sun for a few hours the CF one got so hot that I could hardly bare to hold it!
  7. Here you go Jamie, just the thing : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1281924&highlight=qwqw#post1281924
  8. I have. I won't ever be doing it again though. :shudder:
  9. The OEM wheel from a VVTi is my personal favourite. Much nicer than any of the pre-facelift ones and of course, OEM quality. The wheel from a Tiptronic might be a good idea for you, Jamie, as you could wire the buttons up to functions on that fancy dash display.
  10. It was? News to me. Better how?
  11. ....and one day later yet another set of hybrids has failed Only 1000 miles on these ones.
  12. They do seem to have a worrying habit of failing within a short period of time.
  13. Jake

    rr results!

One other thing I was wondering about, Phil, How are you managing to run it at just 0.8 bar if the car is decatted with a 1.2 bar restrictor?
  14. I have to if I want to keep up the FBMWSH. Not having a pukka service history is A Bad Thing when trying to sell a M3. Maybe that's why the guy they sent out to deal with my complaint was about 6'5'' and looked like he could handle himself. To be fair, they have said that, while not admitting responsibility they will get it repaired as a goodwill gesture if I leave the car with them for a day next week. I don't know if I can be arsed though, it sounds like a bit of a balls-ache, what with me working miles away and all. I was going to get a stone chip on the bonnet sorted at some point anyway so I'll probably just get this new one on the door done at the same time.
  15. For a pre-booked MOT, yes. Doesn't matter how far away the MOT test centre is either.
  16. No, nothing signed. They never even looked at the car when I dropped it off this morning and and didn't take me to the car when I picked it up. I don't think they're really interested in business from people like me in my shitty old beemer. I get the distinct impression they only want folks who are buying their hideous looking new cars.
  17. Had my M3 serviced at Snows BMW in Portsmouth today. Paid the £207 (for an oil and filter change!), got the service book stamped then went out to my car only find there's now a scratch on the driver's door that wasn't there this morning when I left home. Goes back in. They don't know nothing about it Guv. You sure it wasn't there before? FFS
  18. If Range (“C2”) = “blah” Then Msgbox “Correct”
  19. His tongue was amputated? Ouch!
  20. In case somebody tryed to steal0r yuor meggahurts!
