  1. Simon is right, no oversize stock pistons from Toyota. I used Wiseco when I rebuilt mine.
  2. It's £999. There's no reserve http://www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk/home/
  3. http://www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk/home/en/Auction/p/next
  4. This one is for sale next month ... http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/1596/81063861fq3.jpg
  5. What year is FNO 15Y then? Looks like '82-'83 to me.
  6. What year is the Model T then? Can he put a 1982 number plate on it?
  7. Yeah, there was a thread about F4SST the other day. They aren't for sale yet though, not til 7-Oct iirc. F1J C K might be amusing
  8. Huh? Did you notice the part of your post that I quoted? The part I was referring to and disputing. As it happens, I wouldn't welch on a deal for £2½k, regardless of whether it was verbal, 'on a handshake', or whatever. This has actually happened to me several times over the years. Most recently when I sold my blue VVTi to SteveR. I made the mistake of telling a couple of folks how much the car was being being sold for, when they asked me - and then I had the "I'll give you £x more" 'dilemma' - but they were too late; to me the deal with Steve had already been done, verbally, and that's good enough in my book.
  9. Well yeah, but only if the HP and torque are on the same scale. Many/most Dyno Ops these days print the HP and Torque curves on different "Y" scales on the same graph, so the lines won't cross at 5252rpm anyway.
  10. WHOA! Hold on a minute there Jay. Is there something wrong with selling something for what it's worth? Regardless of what you paid for it. Case in point: I sold JamieP the black TT6 that he has recently been turning into the monster everyone has seen. He knew what I paid for it (£4750), everyone knew, I made no secret about it. But Jamie was happy to pay me 2k more than that for it - because that is still a fair price for such a car and Jamie is a businessman and a realist. Did I rip Jamie off? Selling shit for a profit is not a moral crime. ---------------- However, I think Havard has been done a favour. An auto Supra, no matter what bodykit, is not worth that sort of money - not these days.
  11. Does that mean you're setup to run 1.95 bar if you like but don't know what grade fuel it requires for that boost level? Call me old-fashioned but that would bother me.
  12. Just a bit. TBH, I thought JP was pushing his luck at 1.55bar
  13. What were the wheel and flywheel figs, Vaughany? I can't really make out the figures from the pics.
  14. That torque figure can't be right, can it? My VVTi with the baby PHR1 GT60 turbo made 670Nm torque (and only 522bhp)
  15. ....if they can't play fair ...
  16. Tell Dusty you'll never buy anything from him again unless they unban you ...and we'll all vote against his Trader renewal
  17. The non turbo 996 engine is a massive bill waiting to happen. Even scrupulously maintained ones can grenade themselves with no prior warning. Unless you're getting one with official Porsche warantee you need to think very carefully before buying one. Can you afford 8k for an engine/rebuild?
  18. Well done Jazz, getting your "witty" comebacks from answers.yahoo.com is quite remarkable. Get back in there, son. You're making us look great!
  19. I do remember mate but they were quite small pics and the car was orange. I reckon it'll look good, in a In Your Face kinda way.
  20. Different. Hard to say. Any more pics of the rear end?
  21. Not sure what you mean about only once? (Is you name Sam then? Is so, where does the "uth" bit come from?)
  22. Checked the error codes to see if there's a speed sensor problem or anything else? edit: Why isn't "error codes" hyperlinked to the FAQ section?
  23. TWO HUNDRED QUID???? For crappy silicon rubbish? You should have saved your money and fitted some proper rubber ones, ones that are up to the job.
  24. I've no personal experience of this but just yesterday I was reading on PH somebody saying that the poly bushes made the suspension very harsh on his e46 M3. Is it an M3 you're talking about? The ride is pretty solid to begin with, especially if it's got the 19" wheels. I wouldn't want it any stiffer, not for road use.
