  1. I'm very happy about selling my black tt6 to JamieP because I like what he's done with it. Occasionally I regret selling my blue vvti single to SteveR, usually when I see pics of it. Most of the time though I'm quite happy with my M3, it's not as fast in a straight line but in every other way I can of think it's a better car than any Supra I've owned or driven - and that's lots. Steve's Supra is quite a special one IMO. Probably the newest 6sp single in the UK and has lots of quality parts on it. The M3 on the other hand is bog standard and no different from thousands of others.
  2. I don't think Chris is talking about the GT4088R at all, he's referring to the plain journal bearing GT4088.
  3. That'll buff right out. Holy Shit mate! You were lucky not to be killed. Really glad to hear you're OK. I hope it wasn't a first date!
  4. An Arnout one, judging by the pics
  5. Jake

    New JPS Supra

I think that's a fair bet Chris, seeing as Leon can only drive automatics.
  6. You used to like sucking cock?
  7. So somebody who answers their mobile phone while driving should have their life ruined with a significant jail sentence and a massive financial penalty? But it's alright for you to speed? Really? Never? Not one answered call? Be honest. Why did you do that? Is he not aware of your draconian views on motoring offences.
  8. Does the fact he had a few quid and a nice car bother you? I can't really understand what that's got to do with it. Do you think he should go to prison for life, for the accident or for the drink driving? Isn't that revenge rather than justice? I can understand you putting yourself in the parents' shoes and thinking about what you'd want if you were them - but that's exactly why the victims of crime should not decide sentences. If they did the prisons would be full of people serving life.
  9. You've never broken a speed limit or used a phone while driving then?
  10. I don't think the guy is as loaded as some people seem to think. He was just a goalkeeper for a lower division team (Plymouth Argyle are hardly Manchester United) The rest of his life? What good would that do? Similarly, giving his money to the family of the dead boys won't bring those poor boys back or ease their parents' grief. Some things can't be fixed with money. Compensation isn't always appropriate.
  11. 2 kids paid the priceAlso the father, who was seriously injured and, I think, still in a wheelchair. Did you have point to make, Geoff? You seem to have forgotten to include it in your lowercase, broken quoted, chav-speak post.
  12. "that same TV"? Same as what TV? If you quote the person you are replying to it makes it so much easier for us to understand the context. Thanks.
  13. He doesn't pay any tax. He's been unemployed since (and because of) the accident. The guy did a stupid thing and several people paid a terrible price for his mistake. However, I don't see how sending the poor bastard to prison for 'considerably more' than seven years would help anything. He's hardly likely to do it again anyway, is he. Sending folks to prison for very long stretches is just an expensive revenge exercise.
  14. On what are you basing that?
  15. They're great if you like changing heater matrices. Personally, I don't.
  16. That'll be right then : http://epguides.com/Heroes
  17. I don't think that's true.
  18. Looks nice. What ECU does it have? (If it says, I couldn't see it)
  19. Somebody pulled it out of their arse when making up a funny email.
  20. Yes. My Dad's scrapyard bought all the empty aluminium cans left over from Cowes Week one year - that's like 30,000+ cans. We put them all through a smelting furnace and extracted the pure ali. There was practically sod all that came out though. Ali can are all surface area, very little 'meat'. The vast majority of it just turns to slag inside the furnace.
  21. No you wouldn't, I'd be very surprised if you got £50.
