  1. Yeah, it's just a gag. Quite funny though.
  2. No, that 2k includes a set of 19" tyres, so the wheels would have been a lot less than £2k.
  3. Isn't all Adidas stuff 3 stripe? (Unless you're Johan Cruyff in which case it's 2 stripe)
  4. Isn't it just! I'm chuffed for you mate. Seems like the best performing single Supra in the club now with this setup and the suspension setup you've had done. Maybe. Who cares? Chasing numbers is a mug's game IMHO. Nobody who's opinion matters a jot would be like "only 570 hp then?" - it's just bragging rights, and with everything else you have: The handling, the new ecu/single setup, y2k 6sp, RSP ... It's got to be one of the best Supras in Europe now.
  5. And Ryan himself had already mapped the same car before with the same turbo, so the improvement is (mostly?) down to the VVTi now working. (The VVTi not working before was nothing to do with Ryan though. The previous mappers, Tuning Japanese, failed to get it working when they fitted the Motec but they didn't mention it. ) IMO, if the car is starting well from hot and cold, idling well etc I'd be very tempted to settle for how it is now. It looks about perfect to me. OK so a little more power after 6500rpm would be ideal but personally I prefer to drive below those revs anyway.
  6. Have you tried some Tyreweld?
  7. Yeah, I see that now. You: "Sorry, I never visit Calne. Im in Chippenham." Other guy: "I am in pewsham, whereabouts are you?" Im in Chippenham
  8. Yes please. I have no idea why you wouldn't say what town you're from. Please enlighten me. Edit, Oh, you did say the town, my mistake.

  10. Is Ewen the new Dorian Gray?
  11. Ewen, I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our forum. This momentous decree comes as a great beacon light of hope to hundreds of posters who had been seared in the flames of withering inadequacy. It comes as a joyous daybreak to end the long night. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of your potential. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley to the sunlit path. Now is the time to lift our forum from the quicksands to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of JB's children. Come with me brother, we cannot walk alone. And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back.
  12. I've only just seen this thread! Blimey I had no idea all this was being done to my old car. Looks great! Fantastic job on the wiring harness there Ryan, massive improvement over the quality job Tuning Japanese did when they fitted the Motec for the previous owner (the one before me I mean). The gains in power and torque, both peak and the whole area under the curve are pretty impressive. I think it compares very well with any of the others on Ryan's web site.
  13. Wouldn't all that high up weight ruin the handling.... ... oh sorry, aerotop. My bad.
  14. No real need for *nix users, so far.
  15. I think Matt missed the word "power" out. As in: "they have TT power without forced induction"
  16. I thought that too but a quick search .....
  17. Crikey, what a scoop! Actually, Ben Collins was 'revealed' as The Stig back in 2005 on Pistonheads.
  18. Are those the ones that aren't made in the full range of sizes? How does that work? (I might be thinking of some other ones, it's late)
  19. ... and the winner of "Most tragic number plate ever" is ....
