  1. I thought RLTC used the stock Toyota sensors. Isn't it only NA's with no ABS fitted that require additional sensors to be fitted for RLTC to work?
  2. The Motec m600 without any of the added options (datalogging/ Traction Control, etc) is about 2k plus fitting and mapping. Mine was £1850 for the ecu plus sensors (previous owner)
  3. Isn't Baltic Blue the colour we call Storm Blue? Alex's car is RSP, same as mine.
  4. Alex, I can't see the pics buddy. If they're too big for this site to host try uploading them to http://www.imageshack.us first. I want to see more RSP Supras! (but not too many!)

  6. Where does this bolt go? I've never changed discs on a Supra but I'm thinking of changing my rear discs to grooved ones to match the fronts.

Well it's always nice to have a timing slip to show for your ruined tyres I'm sure there's a few of us would be up for this. Keep us posted please mate.
  9. You get paid Friday huh? I'd prefer direct bank transfer or cheque really because Paypal will take 4% (£9) off me. No problem if you're willing to pay the £9 though mate My Paypal is: [email protected] if you want to do it that way. Let me know which way you want to do it. Cheers Marty

Sounds good. Are you talking about standing start 1mile (or 1.25, whatever) top speed runs? If you're only doing quarter miles the police wouldn't be a good choice as they are only going to give you a terminal speed, right? If you used Straightliners or somebody like that you could do proper quarter mile drag times, with reaction times, 60ft, eighths, the all important quarter mile time and well as terminals.
  11. Yes they look same nowadays because (annoyingly) they use the same case. The previous versions were quite different, iirc. You can easily tell the TSD from the combined TSD/DSC by inspecting your credit card statement. As far as I know there's no way to determine visually whether a pre-loved Thor unit is a combi-TSD/DSC or just a vanilla TSD. So be careful if offered a 2nd hand one.
  12. The correct technical name used by us in the boost controller installation business is 'bolts' That's what I used anyway.
  13. Daddy likes. Jon Could they be done in orange and used as fancy front indicators? Somehow have them both come on with the sidelight switch but when you indicate the both go out and one side flashes - a bit like american car rear brake lights do. If not, blue or white would look good on my blue car. I'm sure it's highly illegal to have blue ones though.
  14. I wanted it go down on me - but not like that.
  15. This is getting ridiculous. Third puncture this year. I'm seriously thinking about switching to another make, any suggestions? There I was all ready for a fun evening. I warmed her up ready to go, didn't notice anything wrong. I popped to the bathroom before we got going, like you do, but when I came out what did I find? Yep, you guessed it! In desperation I tried some of that aerosol puncture repair stuff but it still wouldn't stay inflated long enough for me to get anywhere. See the attached photo, do you reckon it's repairable? File attachment puncture3.jpg (17995 bytes) /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif ..
  16. Pretty much the same job as a cambelt so around the same price, say £200-£300 plus whatever a FMS costs. I presume you'd change the cambelt as well while it's all stripped down, unless it's been done recently.

  19. Blimey I've never seen a boost controller plumbed in like that. That's not what I was expecting to see at all. I dunno if that would work or not. (I'm thinking not) Hopefully Ian C or someone that really understands the sequential system will reply.

  21. Bloody great, isn't it? Crap description of a problem, doesn't even say what bleeding car it is, then ignores the replies from people trying to help him. I notice he still visits this site and posts in other threads.
  22. Is it? I've not heard that one before.
