  1. Not sure which bulb you mean.
  2. I left school at 15, my first job was Junior Longshoreman; tying up the Isle of Wight ferry. I was paid a mighty £32 a week. I used to give my mum £10, put £20 in the bank - and just blew the rest.
  3. I hope you aren't you suggesting that gentleman is a sexist!
  4. You need one of these: http://www.scubasewj.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/06/compscarf.jpg
  5. http://www.koreus.com/media/homme-femme.html Like Homer said: "It's funny cos it's true"
  6. Not even JamesMark when you reversed into his car? Or am I thinking of someone else?
  7. Sooner. It would be gutless to start with then the turbos would both come on-line at say 3400-3600rpm. Your car would also sound like the exhaust had blown. TTC makes a much deeper noise at low revs and sounds like something is wrong with it.
  8. No. He's saying maybe the turbos are running in parallel rather than sequentially. I don't think they are though from your description.
  9. What wire was that Jimbo? I was wondering what had happened to your single install. It had all gone quiet.
  10. Yeah, Ro and James - stop picking on Tom
  11. :BidToGetThreadBackOnTopic: Stuart Do you have a boost gauge in the car? It should make positive boost from like 2000rpm and then dip a bit around 3800-4000rpm as it spools up the second turbo and then it should give a healthy surge of power starting from about 4000/4200rpm onwards to peak revs. It shouldn't be flat until 4000rpm but I suppose 'flat' is a relative term - depends what you're comparing it to.
  12. Bottle of wine at 5am? That's hardcore!

    XP error

Yeah, bad memory was the first thing I said in my first post. It's nowt to do with the amount of memory though. Failing RAM causes lots of weird and intermitant problems. 768MB isn't a lot really, 512 is the bare minimum for XP really. I noticed a good performance boost when I upgraded mine from one to two Gig of RAM.
  14. No! What a pain in the ass! So it was mapped when the FPR was faulty so now it's fixed the mapping is wrong? That's real bad luck. Shouldn't be too much of a problem to sort out though, hopefully.
  15. That's Quicksilver. It's nice but I prefer the gunmetal color myself.
  16. What's the car having done then mate? I thought she was all finished. Teething troubles? You not selling now then?

    XP error

Is that what a BSOD is called these days? Could be lots of things, bad memory, any other hardware fault, hdd going bad is another possibility. Start worrying if it happens again. Oh, back up anything you'd hate to lose. Soon.

    New tattoo

Gawd knows, I just saw it on Darren Stares web site. Roy Chubby Brown, FFS. It's like having a Timmy Mallett or Keith Chegwin tattoo. Some people. I thought these ones were good though: http://www.staresy.com/Portraits/images/alice_jpg.jpg http://www.staresy.com/Portraits/images/kurt_jpg.jpg http://www.staresy.com/Portraits/images/axl_jpg.jpg

    New tattoo

A guy in the pub the other day, friend of a friend, had MICHEAL - 14.04.04 in David Beckham style big gothic characters, down the outside of his forearm (along an imaginary line from the point of the elbow to the little finger, if you see what I mean) I said "Isn't Michael usually spelt A E L ?" He was like "errrr, yeah, usually"
