  1. Nice bit of kit. Shame nobody will ever see it.
  2. Bah, what does he know?! (Still think I'm right though)
  3. Totally different types of car. It's like comparing apples and oranges and asking which is the best all round fruit.
  4. Isn't that arse about face for drag racing? I thought you want soft rear suspension for drag starts, no?
  5. For road use I just have mine on the softest setting all the time. It's still bloody firm, anything else is boneshakingly hard.

  7. No mate, the four 12mm nuts that secure the coupling (and the pulley) are regular right hand thread.
  8. leelbuk, Did you get anywhere with this problem? Me and Jonboy have spent this afternoon BPU'ing his J-spec 6sp with Whifbitz decats and restrictor ring, Walbro pump, NGK BCPR7ES plugs gapped to 0.8mm and a HKS FCD but for some reason his car doesn't seem to be making anymore boost than it did before. He's only getting about 0.8bar.
  9. I don't think you can single out football Anderew. Cheating is common in team sports. In solo sports it's very rare and when it does happen the offenders are usually punished heavily. For some reason a higher degree of gamesmanship seems to be tolerated in team games

    EPC help!

Same problem here Tony. It used to work alright on this PC but not now. I've spent hours messing about with it but no joy.
  11. Henry Cooper would disagree. Henry decked Cassius Clay in the 4th round of their 1963 webley fight. Clay would've been finished but the bell for end of the round came. He was sat there in his corner in a bad way, he wouldn't have been able to continue. Then suddenly Angelo Dundee called the ref over and said that Clay's glove had mysteriously developed a gash in it and needed to be changed. They sent someone to the dressing room to get another glove. By the time the replacement arrived, several mins later, Clay was pretty much fully recovered and went on to win the fight. If Dundee hadn't slashed Clay's glove he would have lost that fight and the whole history of boxing would have changed.
  12. Nice! I want a friend like that. Any pics? (Of the cars, not the friend)
  13. How did you blag a drive of these two cars?
  14. The motor trade are against it, the (powerful) new car motor trade I mean. If you could make your older car appear newer than it is it would affect new car sales in a couple of ways that aren't in their favour. The whole switching to number plates changing every 6 months thing was bought about by pressure from the new car industry.
  15. Why are you selling your NA? If it's cos you want a TT Supra you might be disappointed with a luxobarge Aristo. If you want a big comfy cruiser then an Aristo might be OK, dunno what your plans are. If Aristos were easy to shift the guy wouldn't be looking to swap it for your Supra, would he? Me, I would hold out for a buyer and then get the car you really want, whatever that is.
  16. Surely not! Where did you come by this new information?
  17. It happens. GreenPeace's Green Supra was regged as a W plate but was really a 1996 model, iirc
  18. Only on the evidence of about 60 games for Man Utd and Portugal. Face it, the guy is a cheat. The slightest sock-brushing-sock contact and he goes down like he's been shot. He sat there crying like a little girl when he was injured in the last game and thought he might miss the England match. He delibertatey provoked his United team-mate Rooney into shoving him and got him sent off, then gave a knowing wink towards his bench. He's scum. I hope something really nasty happens to him.
  19. In that case you can borrow my jump leads.
  20. You were right in one respect though Col - I am completely pissed
  21. Cheers Ro THE DEFENCE RESTS, M'LUD
