  3. (6sp VVTi) I'm checking my car over before it goes for mapping tomorrow. It's got an Aeromotive FPR with gauge. How do I check what the fuel pressure has been set to? Do you just look at the gauge while the car is ticking over? Stock fuel pressure is 36psi right? Is that at tickover? I presume stock pressure is the best setting to use given my setup? (Motec m600, 800cc injectors, stock rail, stock fuel lines, stock fuel filter, no FPD) Anything else worth checking? Thanks

  12. Seems to me that Kelvin Mackenzie's article is based upon fact. Scots do hate the English and do die younger than the average English person. So basically you're getting upset about a little name calling? Not really comparable to the Sun's Hillsborough disaster allegations, is it? Get over it.
  13. Before sending it back, check the earth connection. I've had a Thor VFCC that didn't like being earthed to the ECU ground wire, even though it was a sound and soldered connection. Once I swapped it to ground out at a chassis point it was fine.

  15. No, there isn't. As HIDs have a clear cutoff I just set them to dip very slightly from horizontal. Seems to work great as the lights are fairly low to start with.
  16. 'My story' is correct. Dundee as good as admitted it 20 years after the event. And I'm not glad things turned out the way they did. Henry Cooper was our country's finest boxer of that generation. But yeah, Ali is my all time sporting hero. I love that guy. It guts me to see what he's like now.
  17. If you need to ask you don't need one. It's a powerful aftermarket ECU mate. They can only be mapped by HKS authorised mappers. Serious bit of kit but dear to get setup properly.
  18. Yeah I know they shift. I wasn't dissing the Aristo I was asking what car the OP really wants. I'm sure a 2JZ-GTE in a big saloon body is still rapid but I'm equally sure the extra weight and softer suspension doesn't do wonders for the handling, compared to a Supra. I'd have an Aristo any day if I needed a four door. I've never seen yours IRL but Gaz's is very nice.

    BPU help

    Jon's ECU would have been reset when I fitted the FCD, due to disconnecting the battery while hac^H^H^H errr 'adapting' the loom.
  20. Surely if it isn't boosting over 1.0 bar with no cats there a problem somewhere. Thanks but I'm not exactly new to Supras I've decatted a few TTs and always needed a restrictor ring before.
