  1. Sweeping statment that, some actually look quite good. Cars depreciate, get over it:p Yep. The one my friend is selling (details in my Sig, BTW:)) is in really good nick and will sell for well under 4k.
  2. Excellent! I think new spaceships appeared on the left hand side though in Space Invaders
  3. Dan, If you like I could photoshop the website names out of those photos for you. Email the pics to me at [email protected] if you want it done.
  4. You certainly won't need a seperate FCD, that's for sure. Steve, did you say it was your car that had the little incident at CW's the other day?
  5. That ECU would have the right drivers for low impedance injectors, wouldn't it? (I might be way off here, I've never touched a V Pro myself, but that was my understanding)
  6. but won't the VPro be controlling the fueling?
  7. Surely you don't need a resistor pack if you're using a HKS Fcon V Pro, do you? That ECU would have the right drivers for low impedance injectors, wouldn't it?
  8. Blimey. Having seen that I think I better get a knife to protect myself! It's very good. Hard hitting but that's what you were going for. You should go over the grammar carefully though, seeing as it's for a school. You don't usually put a capital letter after a comma and there's not space in words like they're (I think you had it as they' re) Are all those pictured injuries actually from knife wounds?
  9. The one in the centre of the pulley? It's nothing special, just a regular bolt would work fine. But I have a spare one from the tensioner if you want it.
  10. This silver non-turbo Supra automatic is owned by a friend of mine. It has done 129279 Kilometers (so about 80,300 miles) http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/6572/dsc00001largeix6.th.jpg http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/9406/dsc00005largehq1.th.jpg http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/8422/dsc00009largebu6.th.jpg She is mechanically sound and the bodywork is in excellent condition. Cobra cat 1 alarm/immobilser MoT to end November 2006 Taxed to end November 2006 Last service done at 123128 KM Oil and filter change New air filter New fuel filter Gearbox fluid changed Front shock absorbers replaced (All genuine Toyota parts) Recent new brake discs and pads, front and rear Recent auxillary belt changed Excellent condition stock exhaust recently fitted (not brand new but VGC) This car would suit somebody looking for a good condition stock Supra that hasn't been abused mechanically or messed about with cosmetically in any way. Apart from the rather nice 17" wheels the car is completely standard. £3850 Car be viewed in the Southampton area.
  11. Are you sure it doesn't have the two bolt holes? I'd be very surprised if it doesn't. You can use a regular socket but it might break. Worth a try though. At a push you can use a 7/8ths socket which is very slightly bigger than 22mm
  12. It lets you take it out of Park when the engine is off ...no wait, that's something else.
  13. At one stage I was looking at using an Arnout cast manifold and a GT35R but it never got off the ground because 1, Arnout never replied to my emails 2, The turbo is at a slight angle on the tubular manifolds but not with Arnout's one. This means you need a custom downpipe as there isn't an off the shelf one available. SimonB who did go for the Arnout manifold and GT35R would be able to say more.
  14. No Daston, that was your crank pulley.

    Top Gear

Yeah the fire will have been faked, same as the car wash that supposedly caught fire a while back. Same as the crunch sound effects they add to incidents.
  16. No! Don't drive it. Without the fan belt the water pump will not work. Can you take a photo so we can see what's happened? Sheared crank pulley is the favorite
  17. Can you explain what they do? In a way that would make somebody want to see them. Obviously I couldn't

    Pimp My Ride

What about that show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"? Do they let them keep the money or does Chris Tarrant take it back off them at the end and spend it all on anusol? Does ne1 no?
  19. I wanted to see the BMG when we were in Vegas last year as I'd heard it was really good. I couldn't convince the others though so we ended up at 'Mama Mia' the Abba thing. Still, it only cost me $440
  20. 'Nest weekend'? Will there be lots of hot chicks?

    My blue car

Just seemed odd that I've had the car since May and suddenly people start PMing me about it. Must've just been a coincidence after all
  22. *** TOP TIP OF THE DAY *** I used to work weekends and have two days off in the week. This meant I got stuck 'looking after' Jemma our youngest while my Mrs was at work. Instead of changing her nappy I just left her in the same one all day and then 10mins before my Mrs was due home I stripped Jemma down, stood her in the bath and kind of power washed her with the shower. Worked a treat every time. Saves money on nappys too!
  23. It wouldn't be dangerous at all. It would expose the rims to damage though. I prefer to have the wider sizes of tyre for the rim so that the tyre protects the rim from kerbing. I have 285/35/18 on 10" rears and the extra tyre bulge of the sidewall really helps avoid kerb damage. Narrow tyres on wide rims looks odd to me but I know some folks like that look.

    My blue car

I'm a little confused. I've had three people PM me this week and two this afternoon asking what I paid for my blue car. That can't be coincidence, can it? Is there something going on I'm not aware of? Not that I mind really, just seems a little odd.
