  1. Hang on, I'll sort something out....
  2. As already mentioned, It'll most likely be a faulty speedo converter or possibly a faulty FCD (less likely). Simple and free to find out ; just remove it and see if the problem goes away. I've never known of a faulty ECU before - unless it's been modded or drenched.
  3. Not posting bogus 'facts' would add more.
  4. Yes he did, and no you can't. Did you see the bit I highlighted, to do with the splines? You can't just put the steering wheel in any position you like; it'll only go on in the postions where the spline on the column lines up with the spline in the steering wheel.
  5. Take it back and get the steering wheel alignment done correctly! The wheel shouldn't be on the piss after the tracking has been done properly. How are you going to do this with norsing up the tracking again? If you move the track rod ends your alignment will bewrong again.

    Street Art

The second one looks like Photoshop rather than Street Art. Or did the artist really do a 200 yard chalk drawling on the road?
  7. Diff light ? What's that then?

    rsp paint help?

Having badly scuffed an RSP rear bumper, right through the paint, I can tell you it ain't got a violet basecoat.
  9. Nope, it's working fine. What's up Bluebox? Feeling a bit tired? Differences between pre- and post-facelift cars
  10. Don't tell me the Search Button is on the fritz again? Bloody thing!
  11. IIRC, a couple of folks have had a failed Igniter Pack after attempting to jump start Supras. Saying that though, I've jump started mine loads of times without issue.
  12. Jump start, yes Bump start, no don't worry mate; no difference to the ECU reset situation.
  13. Sledgehammer to crack a nut? Resetting the password is by far the simplest and quickest option.
  14. They're about £1100 brand new, IIRC. So allowing £100 per wheel for refurbing, I guess they're worth ... say £400?
  15. Old news. First saw this on here in 2005.

    SQL Query Help

Is this Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server (ver?) or what? I'm guessing SQL Server? Just do a subquery using RANK to get the top (ie newest) dates for each Ticket and it'll be plain sailing from there.
  17. Hi mate. You US military? The red Triangle is a general fault indicator, usually it and another, more specific, warning light come on together. The warning lights on the right hand side sometimes fail to work because the solder joints have fractured. It's often repairable, you should be able to find more info if you search our archives using the Search button . Also, if the Cig lighter isn't getting power it can cause some seemingly unrelated electric issues (TBH I forget exactly what kinda issues at the moment). Check the Cig Lighter fuse which IIRC is in the driver's footwell on the RHS. It's difficult to see the fusebox if you don't know it's there.

    I'm back!

Blimey! Hiya Tony mate! Oddly enough I was talking last night about that trip to Amsterdam we took in 2003. How's life down under? I bet you're not missing the lovely UK too much.
  19. Not that close but it is closer than the bonnet is to the wings.
  20. 48 months? Doesn't sound like a long lease to me. Aren't long leases usually 99+ years?
  21. They never do on Supras. The fuel gauge always displays the current level, even if the ignition is off. It won't do that either if the fuel pressure is adequate.
