He knows that. It's not what he's asking. (I think)

I'm not sure what you're getting at Matt. You quoted my post but I wasn't talking about over boosting Wild guess; do you have a UK spec, Matt?

UK cars don't suffer from what?

Yeah, it's been on eBay a few times before. See attached New Folder (5).zip

You'll have to just try it and see what boost you get with both decats and the restrictor and take it from there. Even if you're lucky and the restrictor size is correct for your car in cold weather you will find that the boost level is much lower in hot weather. In which case you would still need a boost controller to raise the boost up to the level you want. Either that or put up with the lower boost on hot days.

    Sausages Anyone?

lol! Very funny. Not real though

Yes stock is around 0.8 bar somewhere. It seems to vary a bit. So you're saying that the max boost level you're seeing has changed from 0.9bar to 1.03bar and the only thing different on the car is the FCD? Well the FCD can't affect the boost level like that so I guess it's just down to atmospheric conditions. It is bloody cold out at the mo, so the air is denser. That's my bet anyway mate.

Huh? Read that back to yourself Maz. It doesn't make sense to me. Quite possible. Results vary from car to car. Exhaust flow (and therefore back pressure) is one consideration.
  10. Thanks for the lesson in manners. I thought I was being very diplomatic and friendly. I actually think you're taking a daft gamble just to save yourself a few quid because you're a tight-fisted Jock. If you say so, Jimmy
  11. Nobody. What's your point? If you're not going to upgrade to a known good alternative I can't understand why you would bother. At least you know the stock pump is OE quality. Putting a £20 eBay special in there is not likely to be an upgrade either in performance or longevity. It'll be close
  12. The rear spats are Bomex. The rest of the kit isn't Bomex but is horrible.
  13. He's a quality junkie. Some folks aren't obsessed with saving every penny.
  14. Not at all. The smiley was because it seemed like you were rather ignoring the already posted definitive answer from the government website.
  15. Can't you do it yourself? Why pay a pro an hours labour when it's only joining 4 wires! Get your sleeves rolled up and get out there, you workshy student layabout!
  16. Oh yeah, it's disgusting. Nice to see you helping your mate make a show of himself
  17. Oh I dunno Mark , I've seen worse http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=45790&d=1161470002
  18. Have you filled in the the "The address to send your membership pack to" section in your Profile? You'll probably have a long wait else
  19. Yeah it takes a while. I got mine last month.
  20. See post #5 mate. For speeding it's from the date of the offense unless you were banned.
  21. Assuming they're the right offset and have the correct tyre sizes fitted, whether the wheels are 17", 18" or 19" it makes no difference. Broomie, See my garage for pics of 19" wheels on a lowered Supra. They are Tein shocks rather than Eibachs but the drop is similar.
  22. OK sorry I missed that. I just checked my license and I deffo got zero points for my DR10. It actually says Points 00. Even though the DVLA web site says the minimum is 3 points (and max is 11) You must've been well pissed to get 11 ! I was only just over the limit (I blew a 42 at the nick) so maybe that's why they were lenient with me.
