  1. Are we talking decatted j-spec here? In which case surely it would make no odds as the restrictor plate aperture would be way smaller than 2.5".
  2. Yeah I've had shark too, I forgot that. I once ate the contents of a dry teabag in 60 secs and won £20. Try it if you think it can be done. I bet you can't.
  3. I've eaten; Kangaroo, octopus, squid, crocodile, snails, frogs legs, oysters, emu (or was it ostrich? I forget). raw pork, raw liver, dog food. Stale cornflakes and water (I was poor and starving at the time). I've drank; hot chocolate from a broken thermos flask strained through a handkerchief, pochine (that irish moonshine stuff), a can of 3-in-1 oil (don't ask), water from a police station toilet bowl. Beer from a can that had cigarette butts in it (I didn't know beforehand) I've seen someone drink a pint of somebody elses vomit.
  4. How come someone from Holland bought it? Where did you advertise it?
  5. No, we're Church Of England. Dunno mate. I'll try some 'distance' seeing it next time I leave the house to sign-on. Aye. And all this year so far too!

    Noob Question

Nope, not standard. Maybe pull up the gear stick surround and see where the wires go? Probably for the alarm or somesuch?
  7. I thought maybe I did when I was getting all those headaches last year. My mate took his whole family into SpecSavers on the spur of the moment while out shopping one day. Guess what? Yep, apparently they ALL needed glasses. What a surprise. So I went to an independant Opto when I wanted a test (and paid for it of course). She said my eyesight was pretty good for somebody my age, considering the amount of masturbating I do. Apparently I may need glasses in five years or so, but I'll be 46 by then so that's not too bad.
  8. Ahh! That explains a few things
  9. Conning bastards they are. I'd get an independent test done (in fact I did) I mean, doesn't Kopite work for SpecSavers? What more could you need to know?

    Normal ?

I'd definitely get it checked out. Does it sound like it's in the drive train? Does it sound like the diff again? Do you have the stock LSD or open diff?
  11. You old perv Paul, she's young enough to be your daughter! Have you seen that Leona girl on X-Factor? She pretty hot too
  12. Put a single on it and turn the RLTC off. That should keep your attention!
  13. Did you get one alright mate?
  14. No rush mate. It's been on an engine stand in my garage for months.
  15. It came from an uncrashed 1998 VVTi TT. It was removed because the bottom end was knocking. It didn't smoke at all. I've taken the cylinder head off and the bores look like new (The VVTi cylinder head is no use to you anyway). I've never got round to taking the bottom end apart but I would assume the crank is no good or needs new shells. Your crank is OK, right? You can have it like it is or I can strip it down to just the block and pistons - whatever you prefer.
  16. I can take some if you like. Want do you want pics of specifically?
  17. Yes, I think the stock were platinum. Copper ones are fine. 90% of us use them. Even in single turbo Supras.
  18. They're the same, aren't they? After all, the US spec ones MVP sell are regularly fitted in J-specs. I'd want £350 for it. Plus delivery
  19. Well out. I've never seen a facelift for that kinda money.
  20. I've got a spare low mileage 1998 J-spec block with a complete set of pistons/rods etc. All in good condition, done less than 40,000 miles. Gawd knows how I'd get it delivered though.
  21. Yes they're most likely buggered if somebody has wire-brushed your iridium plugs. I'd just replace them with some good old NGK copper ones (BCPR7ES for example)
