  1. No. What would a faulty crank sensor do? Throw the ignition timing out? I'd still be getting fuel through, wouldn't i?
  2. Bugger! Swapped those 2 relays from the problem (Blue) car onto the grey car but the grey car still starts fine. What now?
  3. Ah! Upon closer inspection I now believe that it's NOT getting fuel through to the cylinders I've taken all the plugs out to do a compression test and I noticed that the plugs are actually bone dry. When I took one plug out the other day it looked damp but now I can see that they aren't wet at all. They do smell faintly of petrol but I suppose they would. Even holding a cigarette lighter flame to a plug doesn't make it catch fire. Next I'm going to swap the 2 fuel injection relays from inside the fusebox of my other Supe. Any other suggestions? Sorry about the previous duff info and thanks for the continued help.
  4. That's all correct. It did backfire two seperate times but that was a few days ago, now it doesn't show any signs of firing at all. OK I'll see if I can figure out how to do that. I guess there's an adjuster on the Aeromotive FPR right?
  5. You ain't touching my car if that's where you put the jack!
  6. I've taken the battery off to charge it a couple of times this last week, obviously me keep trying to start the engine makes the battery go flat quite fast I guess so, there's no MAF sensor thing on the intake pipe.

    I don't think that's the same one Rayman - it's not a W reg

    Undertray

I haven't had an undertray on my grey Supe since it fell off about 18 months ago. It hasn't caused any problems but I did notice a difference to how the engine sounded while on the move. Not worse or excessively loud - just different.
  9. Yeah maybe, if I ever get the car going again. Least of my problems at the mo.
  10. That's not innuendo though, so I guess it's OK
  11. Was it wrapped in paper like this: http://www.prankplace.com/images/wraps/OZ_SantaBelly.jpg
  12. I tried another Igniter today but it still won't fire. Just turns over with out showing the slightest sign of starting. Don't alarms disable the ignition though? If it was the alarm I don't think I'd be seeing any sparks, would I? No, I don't think so. It always goes flat after about a week if I don't use the car at all. I presume it's the alarm that runs the battery down. No, everything seems to illuminate just fine. I need to get this car working. It's my only transport at the moment.
  13. Reminded me of Stephen Wright but he's damn near bald. Or Tommy Cooper but I'm sure you didn't mean him
  14. Check your brake fluid level, top it up if not completely full. Else check for stored error codes.

    Remeber this..

Never seen that before. That poor guy on fire, just walking along. Weird. I wonder if he survived. I notice that one of the players was called Shipperley. I wonder if he's related to our own WhiteSupraBoy2, he's a Shipperley and his cousin Neil Shipperley is still a pro footballer with Sheffield Utd.
  16. I just used a terminal block. Cheap and easy to do. Job's a goodun. See this thread Adnan : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=50135
  17. I'd start by taking the dash off and see if the bulb's gone.
  18. That's not true. Ro, Incoming email mate...
  19. Got one! Thanks to Suprachargedtt - cheers mate. Many thanks to everyone else that offered too.

    Uk engine codes

All MkIV Supras use the 2JZ engine. (2JZ-GE in the NA and 2JZ-GTE in the TT) The UK spec MkIV Supra engine is 99% identical to the US spec. The JDM 2JZ-GTE has a few more differences - cams, EGR
  21. What has Lui spent out on then? Wasn't most of his car mods paid for by the insurance company after his shunt?
  22. I was just about to mention that one. Oh how we all laughed when he told us that he only had a few weeks to live. Hilarious it was - I thought this one was quite good though TBH
