  1. I think you'll get a rectification notice from the cops and if don't change the plate to a legal one you'd get the points for that.
  2. The DVLA web site says sticker plates are illegal. I'll believe that source over what some copper told you by the side of the road Well they aren't obliged to take it. I guess somebody somewhere makes a decision whether too or not (some worker drone at the DVLA?) - I don't think there's a hard and fast rule about it.

Let's see a pic of your Mrs then? Several folks on here saying what a pig Leona is. You must all have stunning GFs/wifes!
  4. ...which is still illegal and could lose you your private plate.
  5. Which one? Thanks They're smaller than that on the grey car, not sure about the blue one - I've never measured them
  6. Regardless of the cherished plate thing, you really don't want a Q plate. It'll ruin your car's resale value. You can get 3 points and a fine for a too small plate or 'just' a fine for no plate. I don't recall on here anyone actually getting points though. I had no front plate one my Supras for about 2 years without problem - but the first time my Mrs drove the car on her own she got pulled and told off (no action taken though)

The scouse lad pulled out all the clichéd stops to get through: He sang the Liverpool FC anthem "You'll never walk alone" (to get all the scousers spending their Giros to vote for him) and even stooped so low as to "cry" at the end of the song. He's not even that good a singer. The girly haired Joe Cocker sound-a-like was better really. Makes no odds, Leona will win anyway. Does anyone really care though? It's only interesting n the early stages when the crap people are being 'auditioned'.
  8. I would bet good money that 17" Supra wheels (you didn't say) will fit. 16" ones probably will as long as the car doesn't have UK Supra type brakes.
  9. Agreed. I sincerely doubt it. More info please. Just a ";)" isn't very helpful really. Can you elaborate? Why? Are they still selling a 'SuperChip' which is just an expensive FCD and bleed valve?
  10. The maximum is a fine and 3 points and withdrawal of your reg number and the issue of the dreaded Q plate for the car.
  11. Oh, I understand what you mean now! You're incorrect though. I think you think that we only eat the "Bangers And Mash" type sausage in this country. We don't
  12. Cheers Darren. I Sky-plussed this the other day when you mentioned it and watched it today. It was great. I wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't been mentioned here, the title just didn't grab my attention.
  13. That's the same ones I use in my single.
  14. Do you mean BKR7E (6097)? Those and BCPR7ES (3330) are the usual NGK ones we use.
  15. It's one where he's working in a fast food place and his fat boss makes him go to his house to collect his washing - and the bosses wife is mighty fine!
  16. So what else can a sausage be if it's not cooked, not raw and not cured?
  17. Nice work Darryl mate. I noticed a couple of typos: "In stock form, the TT produces a 0.76bar (11psi)," and "This is due the small size of the jspec wastegate" Maybe doesn't read right?: "This is very important to monitor to ensure" "Also known as Exhaust Gas Temperature. This has a temperature probe fitted into one of the exhaust runners" - might be worth saying that you can put the probe after the turbos and explain the Pros and Cons of each position.
  18. I think you're not supposed to gap Iridium plugs because you'll damage them
  19. FFS. It was just a joke. Jeez, you can't say anything round here any more.

  22. Really? That doesn't sound right
