    Puncture!

No it's rare, unless the valves are very old. Usually the valves are replaced every time the tyres are so they don't get old enough to fail. If you've "let the pressure get low" then there's a problem somewhere. If it isn't punctured then it must be leaking around around the rim or from the valve (valve seat or valve itself). I'd get it checked out at a tyre place.
  2. How does someone steal a, presumably, alarmed and immobilised car from outside a house in the dead of night? Are immobilisers that easily bypassed? Very worrying.

  4. I use this one for DVD art. They do music covers too though. http://www.cdcovers.cc/dvd_l.php
  5. £600? For a days work? Nice work if you can get it! I can imagine that folks might be willing to pay that though. Just seems like a high day rate
  6. Huh? Apart from Imi nobody was taking the piss out of his car I don't have a problem with his car, it was the "im still young enuff, lol" text speak I was on about.
  7. Pessimist Mines does it very occaisionally but it's been doing it since I got the car in March 2003. It's not got any worse.

    Steering Wheel

There's two crosshead screws or small bolts (it seems to vary) inside the holes at the bottom of the cover. Turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left to see them better. You have to take those out before the cover can be pulled off.
  9. Yeah they do that sometimes. I thought there was something wrong with mine until I read other folks on here asking about the same thing. If it only does it occasionally I wouldn't worry about it.

You have to do Number 1 first

  16. Sorry mate, that's not really his number - it's the Radio One flirt divert number.
  17. I meant after it over-heated but before the engine stopped running. That's when the damage would/could have happened.
  18. Apparently theres a vid on youtube or somesuch of one guy's strap breaking and the remote smashing the screen of his 52" TV !
  19. You need to get the head off and see what the damage is. It's not a pleasant job though, especially if you still have the stock twin turbos. Was the bottom end sounding OK before it stalled? Over-heating that badly my have ruined the bottom end too Good luck
  20. Thanks Steve but I don't need this now - I should have updated the thread. Sorry.
  21. Yeah was good. Bit lucky though - he just leathered it goalwards.
