  1. It means it's running very rich under boost.
  2. It must be my girliness rather than yours, because I find both types fiddly, whereas you only have a problem with the facelift ones lol Snap
  3. Yeah but you surely have hold of the gearknob when you press the clutch, don't you?
  4. We posted at the same time, so you may've missed my post 2 above
  5. It does the same thing on the old style ones as well Faye. Obviously remove the top section first then unclip the fascia over the clocks, adjust the steering column to its lowest position and tilt the bottom of the fascia towards you - it looks like the two locating legs will snap off against the steering column but actually it comes out perfectly if you're careful.
  6. I dunno what a binacle is but anyway the dash comes off just the same as on the old style Supras.
  7. I can't see how you would do that. Your left hand on the auto shifter would surely feel completely different to a manual gearknob.

  9. Bollocks, I didn't get to read that one yet - It seemed to be in responce to my question. What did it say?
  10. Seriously? I thought Scooter had bought them (he agreed to pay the asking price) but then it looked like Lewis had shafted him for them. Now you're saying you've got them. I'm confused.

    Advise on garage:

I took my car to Tuning Japanese to have the mapping checked and get the AirCon working (It hadn't worked since they fitted the Motec ECU). I was told they'd need the car for 3 days because you only have a few minutes each day to check the cold start. So I left the car there. After that I could never get hold of them. The guy who was doing my car was never there when I rang and never called me back. On the rare occasions I did get hold of him they had still not finished my car. After more than 3 weeks I told them I was coming to get my car. When I got there the guy locked my keys in a metal box and gave me a bill for nearly £900. Edit to add: By the way, Phoenix are great guys but I don't think they do mapping. I'd be happy for them to any work I needed though. I've heard that Paul Whiffin is good with the PowerFC though.
  12. AIUI if the tracking was out it would wear both the front tyres the same, because you'd have to turn the steering wheel slightly to compensate for the side that had gone 'out'. I believe wear on the outer edge of one tyre is more likely caused by a knackered shock or geometry problem.
  13. Would you take £325 for the wheels?
  14. I guess anyone could still win it. We're not even halfway through the season yet.
  15. A poor week for me and Loks. We both suffered the shame of being beaten by WSB2! Peter Devine did well though. Jurgen droppen another place to seventh. 16. I'd start by checking the soundness of the FCD earth connection. I had one that wouldn't work right until I grounded it to a chassis point rather than having it connected to the ECU negative wire. If no joy there then remove it, as you said before. I guess it could also be a Lambda sensor problem, but the problem starting at the same time as the FCD install is too much of a coincidence, innit?
  17. Did this problem start immediately after fitting the FCD?

    Battery shot?

Could you get a neighbour to jump start you and then drive to Halfords?

    uk brakes on N/A

It's a matter of opinion. Personally, I always found the j-spec brakes were adequate for road use provided that they had good quality fluid, pads and lines. However the first time I put a Supra around a track they faded really badly and actually caught fire. The UK's are a lot better in regard to fade resistance and a bit better on the road. ...and they look great too!
  20. I wouldn't do either. I had my car resprayed, debadged and de-aerial'd back in 2003 but the loss of the aerial was a mistake TBH. The aerial in the rear screen just doesn't cut it.

    Grizzly man

Is this the failed actor guy? I remember reading about him ages ago.
  22. Jake

    Another scam

My what unusual mains elec sockets they have in that English hospital.
