  1. More likely something on your car is draining the battery. I have the same problem but mine goes from fully charged to 'can't start the car' in a week. I suspect the gauges on mine (Wideband, Boost, Oil Temp, EGT) because they have a permanent live feed
  2. Welcome to the club grandad Actually you wouldn't make the cut for the ten oldest geezers on here. I'm 41 and CJ makes me look like a fresh-faced young whippersnapper. Paul E can't remember how he is anymore but as long as meals-on-wheels keep feeding him he's happy. Loads of Supra owning bikers on here too. I've got an old style CBR900RRW FireBlade Anyway, welcome on board you old git!
  3. The rear wing? I've never seen a TRD wing like that before
  4. Yeah, I thought it would be! (Sorry)

    Accident :(

Don't forget to add 33% on to the number to allow for transaction losses
  6. Yes mate. Anything for you It's bleeding freezing out there today innit!
  7. BTW there might be a black plastic cover over yours which is making it harder for you to spot.
  8. Did you even look really Maz?

    Gauging Interest

What a cracking motor! It's gotta be one the most desirable Supras in the UK. I'd buy it if I had the money spare.

Oh I see. I must've missed that thread Thanks

So the turbo broke on the way to drop it off for a new turbo kit? That's REALLY bad luck! What turbo kit were you going to have fitted?
  12. You love me really, everyone knows. I think you mis-spelt "all" there. You just love that staff discount, eh?

    I've seen some of these before but most were new to me http://aycu22.webshots.com/image/7261/2006083010266282206_rs.jpg http://aycu33.webshots.com/image/6592/2006076019463670806_rs.jpg http://aycu34.webshots.com/image/9753/2006002210041195037_rs.jpg http://aycu26.webshots.com/image/7985/2006041639786315215_rs.jpg http://aycu26.webshots.com/image/6825/2006022330916588636_rs.jpg http://aycu25.webshots.com/image/8504/2001872001897486861_rs.jpg http://aycu29.webshots.com/image/7028/2001869738701889745_rs.jpg http://aycu14.webshots.com/image/9453/2001874491140419479_rs.jpg
  14. Really? I'm not a fan TBH. I know it sounds silly but there's something about it that reminds me of the 300ZX http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/05/lp64006.jpg
  15. Not Dude's one. Are we talking motoring offences or proper (alleged) crimes?
  16. Would an offer of £50 delivered be of any interest?

    Starting problem

When you say it starts, does it sound and feel OK but then die suddenly or is it rough sounding from the start? If it's the former, it would sound like an immobiliser issue. Some of them will let a car run for a few secs before shutting the engine off.
  18. That'd be a waste of some nice UK spec lights. Why not swap the UKs with somebody elses yellow old j-specs and say £100 your way? It'd help fund the AbFlug conversion too.

    timing belts

It's because the Supra has a non-interference design. That means that even when a piston is at the top of its stroke there is still a gap between it and any valve that has been left in the down position by the broken cambelt, so the pistons and valves don't smash into each other. N.B. The above applies to all MkIV Supras except the NA models with the VVTi engine and any Supra with very high lift aftermarket cams.
  20. I've got a spare set of 17s mate. The tyres are pretty much shot and the wheels have some kerbing but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Are you really in Hampshire? I dunno if I can be arsed couriering them but if your in Hants maybe we could meet up? Let me know if you're interested.

    Help

Hi Depends what kind of service you mean, and who does it. Most things you can do yourself; Oil and Filter changes are obviously the most regular maintainance job and cost me say £40 ever 5000miles. Other stuff is so few and far between I wouldn't worry about. Cambelt need changing every 5 years or 60,000 miles. Brakes and tyres depends on how you drive. Say 18 to 20mpg for a TT and 20 to 24mpg for an NA (Unless your name is BlitzSupra in which case you will claim 36mpg) Nothing much, no regular problems. Emissions might be an issue if you've removed the cats. Can't think of owt else. Big, 300+bhp, RWD, yeah they're quite hard on rear tyres. You should be able to get like 10,000 miles from decent quality rubber. 20,000 is very possible if you do a lot of motorway driving. However, if the car has been lowered without the geometry being redone it may well destroy tyres with uneven wear.

    Leona from Xfactor

    Spot on! 100% agree
  23. errr, The car I took the wheel off didn't have a battery on it at the time
  24. Thanks everyone. Strangely it's been ok ever since I posted on here.
