That's exactly why I haven't worked for the last 15months. I got 42k redundancy money and 20k of shares when I got laid off in Sept 05 and I've basically been living off that ever since. TBH, it's been great! I really like not working. The money is starting to run out now though:( It's surprising how quickly the money goes down when you've got none coming in. I've dabbled with a couple of different things in this time I've been out of work but neither of them worked out how I had hoped so I won't be doing them for a living. I've got to find something soon though, my Mrs isn't gonna put up with me sitting on my arse any longer. Try it at 40 mate! It really sucks.

I think you're allowing RWHP drivetrain losses to a RHHP figure there. There's a big difference in my experience. Where did you get 340 RHHP measured? (Which company)

I've just been searching for the thread about it but I can't seem to find the one. Like I said, both my facelift Supes have had the same problem with the boot release not fully opening the boot and I'm sure I remember Terry S and Chris Webley saying that theirs were the same. I think someone (Terry?) fixed his with some bits from an older Supra. So yours is OK at the mo Carl? Is yours a pre-VVTi facelift? Maybe the problem is only on ones after a certain date (98+ models?) Any other facelift owners have this problem?

Darren, I believe it's a fault with all facelift Supras. If I remember right you have to fit the mechanism from a prefacelift Supe to get it working. I just use the key on mine.

I can't see why you would run a road car on race fuel, unless you had it mapped at two levels and could easily switch between the two maps. Who wants to sit in traffic wasting £3 a ltr race fuel while ticking over? Who would buy a road car that needed remapping before it could run on pump fuel? If you're only going to be running 1.0 bar then you'll only see performance gains by running a bit more more timing advance - and the gains won't be all that much. It's never worth it.

Why on earth did you do that? Anything over 6500K is putting out measurably less light than 4200k/6500k

Why? Wouldn't you want your main beam to be as bright as poss rather than a 'fashonable' purple colour? I can maybe understand folks having the ricey high-K lights on dipped (not that I would but I know it's the fashion) but not the for main beam. What's your thinking there Mike? Is it so they match the dipped beams?

Might be a silly question but is the video you transferred to the phone of a screen res that the phone can play OK?
