Yeah the anti squeal shims that go between the back of the pad and the pistons, if you want to use them. You've got the metal spring tensioner things, right?

Are you sure you're Scottish? Five minutes fitting a new belt would be the most sensible thing to do. The chance of the tensioner being the problem is remote, in my opinion.

That article will be referring to UK/US spec pump. The Walbro is an upgrade to the j-spec pump.

That's right. It has a magnetic clutch and the pulley just 'free-wheels' when the clutch isn't engaged.

Can you get cable? Ntl or Telewest will give you free cable tv with about 40 channels if you change to their phone service. It's £11 a month for the phone which is cheaper than BT

Difficult to know what to do when the 'buyer' decides they want their deposit back. I was in a similar situation myself recently. Why would you refit the carputer if you're selling the car?

I've got one but it's from an auto (Tip of course). IIRC 2 (or is it 1?) of the gearbox connectors are different to the manual loom.

You can get these from any Lexus dealer. The rears are about £300 each. I can get you a part number if you want.
