    Tyre Sizes

9.5" fronts with 275 wide tyres? That's mad. I presume you'd have mentioned if it was a TRD widebody or somesuch.
  2. I know. They're a little over £600, as I said up there ^
  3. My Mrs works for them

    Ticket!!

    My dog's got no nose
  5. Yes it's BS but the age of the car may mean that it's emissions levels are allowed to be higher than a newer model
  6. My understanding is that the squealing noise starts after the rubber between the inner and outer parts of the crank pulley has sheared, not as an indication that it's started to go. The noise is from the two parts slipping against each other. Once that starts it's only a matter of time before the outer ring falls off and a matter of luck how much damage it does.
  7. Ryan you nutter! Glad you're alright mate. Nah. Rob Oldham rolled his one too. Takes a bit of doing though
  8. It's quite a straightforward job (unless you're a certain ex-trader I could mention ) Two bolts, one clamp, two track rod ends. It would take about an hour with the right tools. You'll need to get the tracking done ASAFP after fitting the new rack. Supra steering racks are very expensive new. Like over £600.
  9. See post #26 in this thread : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=95247 If you go to the link I posted below the explanation you will see for yourself.
  10. No. It's a viral marketing capaign for Dominos Pizza.
  11. They're deliberately making it difficult for me to cancel. I can't see them accepting me cancelling my payment method. AIUI, it doesn't work like that. Any valid card merchant can ring up and charge your credit card as a "Customer Not Present" transaction and there's nothing you can do to stop them. You can of course contest the charge with the CC but only after they've done it. I bet that's a right PITA too though. I might have to just report my CC lost and get a replacement card with a new number. That'll fuck Pipex up.
  12. No, not MAC address (that would be a good trick) it's a "MAC code" Something like Migration Authority Code I think they said.
  13. I've cancelled my crap 1meg £24/month ADSL from Pipex and signed up with NTL cable broadband. Or rather I've tried to cancel with Pipex. I rang them to cancel and was told they had to send me a "MAC code" first and I had to give that to my new ISP. I said that I didn't think I needed a MAC code because I'm not having DSL, I'm having cable. The woman insisted that I did need it and she would email it to me. A week later no email has been received. So I rang Pipex back and explained it all again to a guy. He said I didn't need a MAC code, I just needed a cancellation email form which he would send me. He said I should fill out the form and send it back - and that would be it cancelled. That was 3 days ago and still no email received. So how the hell can I cancel with them? They reckon I can't cancel until I complete and return the form that they never send! I wish I was paying by direct debit because I could just stop the DD but sadly I'm paying by credit card each month. Any suggestions?
  14. Did he not disconnect the battery while fitting the FCD?
  15. Another case of "Doesn't seem so bad when you've heard the other side of the story" then.

Man, your posts are really hard to read because you don't use any punctuation. You won't see any flashing lights until you do the paper clip thing.

    why banned?

"Most users ever online was 20 on Jun 5 2006, 09:26 PM" They should combine with .co.uk !
  18. Dunno. I guess they look at it or ask you what the part was before it was damaged.
  19. Just say "aftermarket turbos". They aren't interested in specifics. All my mods are listed like that
  20. Yes I know it Matt B - it was me that offered him a lot more for the wheels.
