Ah but doesn't that site just give broad and general advice? It makes no differentiation between the buyer changing his mind through no fault of the seller (or the courier) and the buyer rejecting the goods because they aren't of an acceptable quality/condition. Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 (c. 35) I believe is more relevant to the delivery and acceptance of damaged goods. Note that it is an actual law rather than a piece of consumer advice.

They can put what they like in their policy, doesn't make it right though. Your statutory rights are not affected by what the vendor chooses to put in his terms. Similarly, the trader in another thread refusing to refund a faulty clutch because he claims it was "sold as seen" is wrong too. He can't avoid his legal obligation under the Sale Of Goods Act just by saying that.

No, Ricky is right; It's the seller's responsibility to get the items to you in good condition. They must love people like you though.

Have you got some really old PC or sod all RAM? I don't have any of those problems and this PC is as old as the hills (XP Corp SP2, Athlon XP2000, 1gb RAM) Besides, software that ain't running can't check for updates. Maybe you need to manage your startup apps?

My '00 RZ and my old '98 RZS Tip both have passenger airbags. I'm pretty sure I've seen them on pre-facelift j-specs too though. It may have been an optional extra on the old ones, dunno

That's funny because I know two people who have given up on Macs and started using PCs. One of them is a typical Mac user as well, she likes to do things a bit differently to the mainstream, veggie, etc. You know the type. Mac users generally aren't as up-themselves as Linux snobs but they're on the way.

What do you mean by 'rebuild'? Uprated rods, bearings etc? Chris Wilson would be my ideal choice but I can't afford him and he's too far away from me. Phoenix would be my other choice.

She needs a strong anti-bacterial solution. It won't stop smelling until you kill the bacteria. Should be able to find a good one at any decent supermarket or failing that a large pet store. She may need to work the solution into the floor boards too.
