The reversing light on our Charlotte's Clio doesn't work. Can't see why, the fuse and bulb are OK. I'll need to get it sorted before her MoT, right? It's just that somebody told her it doesn't matter for the MoT but I don't believe them. Anyone know for sure?

That happened to my Dad once. The person in the parked car opened their door and we hit it. As it happened the police were just across the road and came over but they reckoned it was my dad's fault because he hadn't left enough room to allow for someone opening the door! That's never right, is it?

Ahh, you said 460Lbs before. Nm is quite a lot different to ft-lbs. 464.7 Nm = 342.7 ft-lbs (Divide Nm by 1.356 to convert to ft-lbs)

600Nm of torque is about 442 ft-lbs isn't it?

I like other folk's black Supras but I'd never have one myself, it's just too much work. Black looks great when spotlessly clean but it's dead common and the car only stays clean until the first time you drive it. Most of the time they look like crap. Met Blue and Gunmetal are much better in that respect. They don't show the grime so the car still looks good. IMO, Purple is old hat too. It was 'different' a few years ago but now it's the colour that people go for just because they want to be different not because it actually looks nice. Like I said, just my opinion
