  1. I don't think anyone is picked on for bad spelling. It's mainly the lazy lowercase text speak posts that really annoy people.
  2. I would only go for a TT lump if I were you. The lower compression pistons are more suited to turbo applications. The oil squirters cooling the pistons are a good thing too. What is longer?
  3. 31. [*] Have you ever claimed against your policy with Sky Insurance? No 32. [*] Did you encounter any problems during your claim? I haven't claimed. 33. [*] Would your experience of claiming though Sky Insurance influence your decision to renew with them? ??? Should I just answer no to 32 and 33?
  4. Swapping one auto box for another? It's a simple job, any half decent mechanic should be able to do it. Or is there something tricky about a UK Spec autobox that I haven't considered?
  5. Yeah I thought that. Let's try: http://www.slipstreem.me.uk/images/mkivsupra/women.gifhttp://www.slipstreem.me.uk/images/mkivsupra/women.gif edit: Hmmm, it's too wide. Try this: http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2239/women300x300lt2.gifhttp://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2239/women300x300lt2.gifhttp://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2239/women300x300lt2.gif http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2239/women300x300lt2.gifhttp://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2239/women300x300lt2.gif
  6. A bit more info would have been good. Why are you thinking of doing this? What other mods do you have or have planned? The person that told you it wouldn't be a good idea, didn't they tell you why? It's GReddy not Greedy I have 800cc Power Enterprise injectors (side feed, high imp) in the stock rail. They work fine. But then I only have a small single turbo (PHR1) so smaller injectors, say 650cc, would have been ok for my setup.
  7. Junction 13 on which motorway?
  8. (RobCowley's thread about his GF over filling her oil reminded me of this but I don't want to hi-jack a Tech thread) Years ago, my ex phoned me at work and said "you know I said last night about my heater doesn't seem to be working very well and you said to check the radiator level? Well I've put 10 kettle-fulls of water in but it's still not full. Do you think it'll be enough to get me to work?" I was like "TEN??? Where exactly did you put this water?" Yep, she'd put it in the engine! Nice one. At least she hadn't started the engine and a couple of oil changes in quick succession fixed the problem. Mind you, I've done a stupid thing like that. A stone had gone through the radiator of my grasstrack car during a race. We repaired the hole in the pits between races but when I went to fill the rad I picked up the wrong Jerry can and filled the rad with petrol. No more racing for me that day! We didn't dare start the car.

    sub info

Wrong section mate. You want the ICE one
  11. Hang on. What makes you think you need this sensor?
  12. It's stamped into the engine block. You know where the oil filter is? Just below there it says "2JZ" in raised letters and just below that is the engine number. It's really hard to see though. Most import Supras just have 'not known' for the engine number on the log book.
  13. Very funny. I'd be well pissed off if I was Rosie. She's gone to a lot of trouble trying to sort this out and you guys come along and just ignore the rules she made. I know you're desperate to be in the calendar and that's why you're uploading multiple photos but if you can't follow the simple rules you aren't going to get your car in the calendar. *edit by Rosie* Thanks Jake
  14. What do you mean by 'air intake'? They were all made with two air-feeds into the single airfilter box

  16. Shame. Funny looking fella wasn't he? The marking on his face is very unusual. Cute though.
  17. Cool. The second one then
  18. Do you own the copyright on those pics though?
  19. First pass: 25 ft-lbs 2nd pass: 90 degrees 3rd pass: 90 degrees Edit See attached.... 30L_6_CYL_NON_TURBO.PDF
