    Steering wheel

Hang on... they aren't physically one unit, are they. The centre cover is seperate piece. You mean they are sold new by Toyota as a single part number, right?

I'm just messing with you And. You have a bit of a reputation as a fussy git - dunno if you're like that really
  3. Looks alright. Wheels are a bit old school, similar to the old VeilSide ones. AbFlug nose is unusual and nice. Lights are not facelift. Price is about right I'd say, not a bargain though.

Nope, never heard of them Steve.

The HKS Carbon/Ti is very civilised. I can leave my car running on the driveway for 10 mins without the neighbours getting upset. Much quieter than the HKS SuperDragger I had before.
  7. He's talking about Pompey were pwnd by Watford, Tom - not Man Ure
  8. and by the time the solo has finished you'll be home.
  9. If it's more than £6 tell 'em I offered to burn you a couple of DivX CDs wot I downloadered from the intawebs for nuffink.

Yes mate, the Thor one I mention before. http://www.thor-racing.co.uk Behind the clocks usually. It could also be down by the ECU but not usually.
  11. According to http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html 225/50/16 = 315.70mm Rolling Radius 245/45/16 = 313.45mm Rolling Radius 245/50/16 = 325.70mm Rolling Radius
  12. Which A/R do you reckon for the 4088 on a divided manifold like the PHR/HKS one then Charlie? I can't decide between 0.95 and the 1.06

Fit a Thor DSC (if you don't already have one) and then adjust the rotary dial inside the DSC so the speedo needle matches your GPS at say 70mph. It'll be spot-on at all speeds then - well mine is anyway.

errr that's a bit of bodge. The Odo can be made to display the Miles legend rather than just disabling the Kms one.

What type of Supra do you have mate? NA/TT? Auto/Manual? Cheap converters mess up the power steering and the auto gearchanges. The one from Thor Racing works well though. It can change your odometer to add on in miles (not mph ) but then you will have a confusing mixture of kilometers and miles. It's probably best to leave the odo alone so that it continues to add on in Kms.
  16. Sell me your GT60 then! It'd save me all this agony trying to make a decision over which bigger one to get. I'm only doing it cos mine has bought the farm.
  17. What do you take for migraine? I had the start of a migraine earlier tonight, first one I've had since Sept 05. Luckily I recognized the signs and managed to get some naratriptan down me before it got a grip. 20mins later I'm right as rain again. I tried loads of different pain killers when I was getting migs a lot but none really worked, naratriptan on the other hand isn't a pain killer (or so I'm told) but works incredibly well. Have you tried them?
  18. OIC. Well, no. AFAIA there is no reason to. If you're using a non-divided turbo it's irrelevant whether the manifold if is divided or not. But if you're using a divided turbo housing you will want a divided manifold otherwise there's no benefit.
  19. Could you remove which division? (Manifold or turbo?) Why would you want to anyway? From what I've read it's a good thing as long as both the manifold and turbo are divided.
  20. Seems like the 4088R is about $1900 (£960) so it's not all that much more. So if I get a gt4088r with a divided housing what A/R do you guys reckon I should go for? I'm more interested in spool and torque than peak power but it's got to make more power than my old PHR1 GT60. Should I have a divided manifoldturbo gasket? My old one isn't
  21. Not sure about the stock 16" wheel widths but the tyre sizes are here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=46690&d=1162988526
  22. Do you want wheel sizes or tyre sizes?
  23. :thread resurrection: Well I still haven't got around to ordering a turbo. At the moment I'm unsure about this divided/undivided housing business. As I understand it (from what I've read) I think I would be better to go for a turbo with a divided housing, seeing as I have a HKS manifold which is also divided. That way I can take advantage of the better spool that it's possible to get with a a divided housing and manifold..... right? Does anyone know if the BL67DBB has a divided housing or not? What about the gt4088 and gt4088R? Seems like the 4088R and the BL67DBB are around the same £ and the 4088 is about half. Also the 4088 is gonna be easier to install but I quite fancy a DBB really. Decisions decisions
  24. Not necessarily. Not if you're a guy anyway. I can honestly say there's not much I haven't been able to have, or places I couldn't go because of children. The only downside I've found is that they make it difficult to do things with your Mrs, because most of the time one of you has to look after the kids, and it's her. As long as she's happy to do it you can still do pretty much what you like. See, I was always a "No kids for me thanks" guy but then my Mrs got herself pregnant by accident (apparently). I wasn't keen but couldn't face the alternatives so we carried on. As it happens she had a miscarriage at 5½months (Not the most fun day I've ever had) but by then we were both quite looking forward to having a kid so we had a planned one this time and everything was fine. TBH, I'm still not a 'baby person'. I still don't like other people's kid's but your own are different. A bit like farts; your own seem fine but other people's are horrible. Anyway, my point is that you can have it all. They don't have to ruin your life.
