Nightmare. I wouldn't have thought the fuel pump would have been the problem. Your car is a lot newer than most of the BPUs out there and a lot of them are on the stock 13 years old pump OK. If you want to avoid the expense and hassle of going single I know where there's a spare set of VVTi turbos (They're different to the pre-VVTi TT turbos). I was thinking of maybe having them myself incase I ever want to convert my VVTi back to stock.

Dunno really. I think maybe I'm getting a bit old for the souped up boy-racer type cars. Also, it's a bit embarrassing turning up in such a flashy motor when I go to sign-on Edit, sorry I misunderstood - I thought you were saying "why?" rather than "how much?"

I'm wondering if I would get more £ for my car by converting it back to stock and selling the car separately to all the aftermarket bits. (Motec ECU, FMIC, 800cc PE injectors, RLTC, Single turbo kit, WI, etc etc) I'm thinking a stock-ish y2k VVTi 6sp manual is probably worth, what, £15k-16k? And maybe easier to find a buyer for than a big-singled Supe as well. Good idea? Stupid idea? Any thoughts?

Well the NA was never sold in the UK. All the NAs in the UK were imported from Japan and are JDM spec. I don't know about the NAs in North America, maybe the NA was an official model over there?

My '98 Blade (RRW) was quoted as 130PS when new.

I can't race because my car still has a broken turbo. I didn't sign up for the "I'm interested" list either though. £52 seems like quite a lot for running your car at Santa Pod but I would pay it and support the club if I could - sadly I can't.
