For some reason they're usually more expensive than an otherwise similar Supra (automatic, pre-facelift) A newer manual TT is worth more than an Aerotop though.

I got a "genuine Toyota" top end gasket set with a couple of gasket missing from eBay. When it arrived it clearly wasn't genuine Toyota and the quality of some of the parts was pretty poor. There's no way I would go to all the work of fitting valve stem seals and using unknown quality parts. How gutted would you be if it failed again a week later?

I suspect beause it's the nearest you can get to 3000cc using a Bore and Stoke in whole millimeters. They're not all like that anyway. Some cars and bikes actually have a bigger engine capacity than you might suspect from their name/model/whatever you call it. My CBR900 FireBlade is really 918cc.

I hope it's not that 'cos my engine is a recent build too. I suspect the different turbo and cams are the main thing. Jon's made slightly more rwhp but slightly less torque compared to mine but there's not much in it either way really. I'm just glad he's finally got it all sorted. He's had a nightmare with that car.

Great news Jon. That's a good RWHP figure too, 20 better than my PHR1 managed (same dyno and mapper I think)
