Why do you need subtitles ?

    HD "not ready"

I agree. HD isn't worth the £10 a month extra. OK things that are in HD (Sky Sports and Sky Movies) do look better but it doesn't really add anything to my enjoyment of the programme. I don't care about Top Gear though, it's a rubbish programme. It used to be interesting when it was about cars but the last few years it's just awful.
  3. Coo. Don't let the bedbugs bite.
  4. Actually, that isn't what I said, but if you have an 8J stock wheel you've answered my question too. Cheers
  5. Go with your first instinct, AH. Looked bang on to me.
  6. I guess you had to be there, right ?
  7. You like that? I like to think I'm pretty thick skinned but I'd be too embarassed to drive around in that. Perhaps if I were in my 20's but for a middle aged bloke like me it would be a bit "chestwig" IYKWIM.
  8. I could be wrong but I don't think they made such a thing mate. Unless I'm much mistaken they were all 9JJ ETA: Apart from the 8JJ 16" ones of course.
  9. OMG. I've never seen one of those before. I LOVE IT.
  10. Not a car though Gav, is it. Tis just a shell AFAICT LOSE 5 POINTS! [/paxman] Noyce! Good shout
  11. Rule 1: £10k max to spend Rule 2: Must actually be up for sale (or sold recently) with advert included. (please include at least one pic for the enjoyment of others and to keep the thread interesting) Rule 3: Must be 25 years old or more (Bonus points for 30+ years) This is my choice... http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/dbimages/0606875001206527158.jpg . http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/dbimages/0482758001206527159.jpg . http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/dbimages/0821773001206527161.jpg http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php/carno/15543 I want this car so much it hurts.
  12. Oh right. So you've unilaterally declared my thread closed then. Cheers
  13. That bumper isn't Veilside mate, it's a Bomex one
  14. No they came loose because, it seems, that he fitted a spacer with a 10mm deep hub recess onto an 11mm protruding hub. The spacer's ring then broke off which instantly made the wheel nuts 1mm looser. Full thread here, if anyone's interested.... http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7607
  15. On one of the M3 forums a chap's wheel fell off the car only 50 yards after he fitted some hubcentric spacers. Turns out that the ones he fitted weren't sutable for his car and this caused the spigot part of the spacer to break away from the backplate. Photo here Anyway, the guys on there are all claiming that the spigot part of a hubcentric spacer exists only to centre the wheel on the hub and has zero load bearing duties. Apparently I'm the only person who thought otherwise. So, I've done a bit of searching on here and found a couple of threads by our own CW which seem to support my argument.... Here and here and here Now I'm sure CW is correct but folks on the other forum are saying things like "How come Eibach sell flat (non=hubcentric) spacers then?" and "If the central ring was load bearing then why are many spigot rings used on after market wheels made of plastic?" I need a bit more evidence to support my claim than "it stands to reason" or "Some bloke called Chris on mkivsupra.net said so" Problem is I can't seem to find anywhere else that supports Chris' view on this. Anyone know where on the net I might something a little more official or technical looking than a post on here? (No offence intended to Chris at all, I think he's right, but I don't expect guys on another forum to hold Chris' opinion in the regard we do on here) cheers
  16. F8 won't get you into the BIOS or into Window Safemode, not directly anyway, it'll get you into Windows Advanced Options and from there you have the choice of things like Safe Mode and Last Known Good Config etc. Right, I'm off to split hairs in another thread now. Scotty, you coming?
  17. Front seats now sold. Rears still available.
  18. Yeah, true. I'll take some pics if I need to but I was hoping somebody would just say "Yeah I'll have that" and save me the bother. Everyone knows what a leather seat or a stock VVTi steering wheel looks like anyway, don't they? It always makes me laugh when somebody is trying to sell, say, a set of plugs or a FCD, and you just know the first reply will be somebody asking for pics. But yeah, point taken.
