  1. I think 20meg should be like this download:

    Vvti

Because the VVTi has more torque below 4000rpm compared to the non-VVTi the power delivery is quite a lot smoother. You don't get that sudden surge when the second turbo comes on line. This can make it feel less powerful to some people but it's not. Like Alex I've had both types and I much prefer the VVTi.

    Unbuntu?

Tried it, didn't work. Thanks anyway

    Unbuntu?

Can I run Unbuntu as root when in the GUI? (I know I can su to root at the command line) I have a bunch of huge directories left over from when I was running Vista but in XP I can't delete them. So I thought I'd boot from a linux cd and delete them that way. But when I try to do that it says I can't delete them because they're owned by root. I tried to switch user and then log in as root but it doesn't seem to work. (It's just root/root, right?) Cheers
  5. I read that the GPS software on the N95 sucks though. Also the integrated GPS receiver on the n95 doesn't work with TomTom.
  6. Mate, To get the the right decat you need to say which model Supra you have. NA? UK? J-spec Pre-VVTi TT?, VVTi TT ? (I know it's not a NA cos you want a restrictor ring) Better still, put your car details in your Sig. Cheers
  7. You should've gone to specsavers H. They're deffo not the same
  8. Really? I gave one away recently. I even paid £8 to courier it to the guy!
  9. That's mad. Makes you think, doesn't it?

    Hi Guys

He wasn't referring to your avatar.
  11. How many points can you get for 'Failing To Stop At The Scene Of An Accident'?
  12. I've found this: TomTom 6.75 UK/Ireland/major roads of europe (1 map) 255.5MB I can PM you a link if you want to try it?
  13. I'm using the street level Western Europe map (660.1256) and the update speed is fine. I could put it up for download if you wanted to download it overnight? It's about 900meg though, so you'll need to have a minimum 1gig SD card.
  14. Oooo no, I don't like the m5000. I think the m500 would be better for me. (I've broken my XDA2)
  15. Edge, SteveR, Does the SPV M500/M5000 have a touch screen?
  16. They are good for TomTom. The phone interface is a bit crap though. I'm not sure what software there is for playing mp3s cos I'm not into that, but I doubt windows media player is all that good.
  17. What map version? I found one of the UK maps much laggier than the one I'm using now.

  19. Thor don't measure the power at the wheels, it's at the hubs they measure. My 93 RZ auto makes 350 at the hubs (Thor) and 300 at the wheels (SRR). Another member (JohnnyKnox?) made 415 RHHP at Thor with basically BPU I believe.
  20. Make sure you have your locking wheel nut key in the car. Maybe extra cash for some Duty Free?
  21. The bare minimum you can get away with is to leave it alone and see if it breaks. It won't damage anything¹ but obviously the car will be stranded wherever it happens. They're supposed to be changed every 60,000 miles or every 5 years regardless of mileage. (¹Assuming you dont have the uber-rare VVTi NA)
  22. Found it! : http://www.mpaconsultancy.co.uk/miamirice/images/dark.distortion.rear.tyres.jpg
  23. That great Darryl, thanks. What's it for anyway? I can't remember where the hose goes - wastegate or boost controller I guess?
