  1. You'll have to PM or email him. Apparently Ernie has been hounded off the forum.

    How much?

Mileage isn't low. Good colour though. I'd say 7½-8k if tiptronic 10-11k if manual
  3. You're not making the classic mistake of pushing the stalk in rather than pulling it towards you, are you? I know it's been a while since you drove the car much.

    Supra comparrison???

  5. Not really overkill. It's a small turbo, realistically capable of 500-550 fwhp on UK pump fuel, or less if you want.

    Turbo Kit

    Does the (2) mean Qty 2 ?
  7. Depends how long you're allowing for the withdrawing and inserting. It's about 37.6 secs per shag by my math, ...so about right!
  8. Of course there's an easy way to check Charlie's idea, Daman, just take the sock filter off. For testing purposes I mean. You have the stock in-line fuel filter anyway and you'll be able to see if there's much shit in the tank when you take the pump out.
  9. How come this has taken 2½ years to get to court?
  10. Yes, he means the filter attached to the pump (if that's why you're bumping this thread?)
  11. but it looks shit Jazz. It's just a shiny thing on top of the existing shroud, it serves no purpose at all - just adds weight.
  12. My Outlook 2003 crashes when it goes to download an email. If there's no email to download it doesn't crash. I've tried three different email addresses and it crashes for all of them when there's email to be downloaded. I've tried deleting and making a new PST file but it still crashes. I done an outlook repair from the Office CD. Any suggestions? I'm using Outlook Express for the moment but it kinda sucks compared to o'03 (but it doesn't suck as much as o'07)
  13. I don't think it's plastic. And there's several people in the comments who have tried on their cars after seeing this and said it worked for them. Gotta be worth a shot.
  14. I've had the SnapOn gear for like 18 years. It's getting tatty and I've lost or broke a few bits over the years. The Halfords own brand stuff is good quality, not SnapOn quality but still good. I'm over the tool-snobbery thing now but when I was young I thought it was cool to have the best tools but now I just want whatever gets the job done without breaking. TBH a lot of it was peer pressure, when I was spannering for a living the other mechanics would have taken the piss if I was using Halfords tools.
  15. It wasn't locked, never is. Silly really. I have insurance but it's not worth claiming. It's no big deal. Just a bit annoying. Thank god they didn't take my FireBlade - it's not insured!
  16. Will it still be available after you get perma-banned?
  17. my Mrs said that I'd left the garage door open. Errr no, I haven't been in the garage. Some bastard has been in there and nicked my tools! Almost new 60 piece socket set gone. twas only a Halfords one but still. Strangely a lot of my SnapOn stuff is still there, probably because it's not brand new looking. Moron thieves don't even know quality tools when they see them.
  18. Not any more. He's on a PHR3 now.
  19. You're referring to the GT4088? Mike's is the GT4088R which is a different beast. It's the plain gt4088 that a lot of people are using. It seems to be a good size for the Supra and a decent power upgrade from the t61 turbos. It's also well priced, you get the GT tech for less than the price of a PHR t61 or t66/67 old style turbo.
  20. I've got grooved fronts and plain UK spec rears. It looks odd IMO
  21. Nice one Mike. Where did you order it from? Do you mind saying how much it was? I heard today that my GT4088 is finally on it's way and will be here Fri.
  22. The colour is nice but painting j-spec calipers and putting TRD stickers on them is quite amusing. IMO. No offence like.
