  1. Shorter is better in theory. In practise I don't believe it makes any difference. Unless you're talking about yards of it of course
  2. Oooo that's not good. They're usually very good at Micheldever. You aren't the luckiest person in the world, are you! Still, should be easy enough to sort out.
  3. What have you done now Rosie? Ian C did a great article on changing rear wheel studs. It's much the same for the front. How To: Replace a rear wheel stud

    15k supra

Yeah I think so. It would be worth more if it wasn't for the quite bad accident damage. I should think you could get a really good manual TT with VVTi if you can find one. I reckon my blue y2k one would be worth around 15k if it still had the stock twins, and that's one of the last thousand Supes ever made. Plenty of other nice cars around for that kind of money though, not just Supras.
  5. I got mine from Halfords. £20 I think.
  6. Remind me? There's the arrow in the neck one but didn't that bring Naomi rather than Penny after Des deviated from the premonition?
  7. Ahhh she verry nice slovakian lady. Me like to make sexytime with her anooss.
  8. I dream of getting 280 miles to a tankful. I'm lucky to get 200 a lot of the time.
  9. Yes but Charlie knew he HAD TO die. Otherwise Claire and Aaron wouldn't be getting on that helicopter. Mind you, I've got a chopper here that Claire is welcome to climb on to.
  10. Like the slovakian girls.
  11. Sounds alright to me. A little rich on light throttle maybe but nothing to worry about. What turbo do you have on the car? You'll have to take it a HKS approved mapper to get that ECU adjusted.
  12. More likely to be a stuck shut thermostat than a blocked rad, I guess. You can crudely check if the rad is blocked with a hosepipe. Just take the rad out and stick a hosepipe in the top hole and see how quickly it comes out the bottom one. (Don't go mad though). You'll need a rag or something to temp seal the hosepipe in the top rad hose hole.
  13. ...or you could use some of the throttle positions between 0 and 100%. I heard there are several of them!
  14. Why would you want a wrong-hand drive Supra in the UK?
  15. Actually I think it's ALL about the octane rating. Even the best fuelling setup can't really compensate for a lack octane. The octane rating is basically the fuel's anti-Det performance rating.
  16. My car was mapped by Turding Japanese up to 1.8 bar but the amount of timing that needed to be pulled at those boost levels on SUL meant that it was barely any quicker than it was at 1.4bar. Also it used worry me to death. Personally, I'd want to run it at a safe 1.2bar for daily use but it would be great if you knew it was going to be alright up to, say, 1.6 with a dash of Toluene.
  17. It says : "Albattikhi, a Jordanian immigrant, is charged with murder and his co-accused, his business partner and landlord Mohammed Reveshi, 50, originally from Iran, is accused of helping to dispose of the body."
  18. I usually search on google but put "wiki" at the end. e.g search Google for NPT thread wiki instead of searching on wiki itself.
  19. Do you know if they're open Saturdays James? I can't see any mention of opening hours on their web site.
  20. Well I've got the turbo on but oil line fitting on the new turbo is different so can't start her up. How disappointing. I need a male to male adapter but God knows what thread size they are. The female on the turbo is smaller than the one on the oil feed line too so I'll need a step down one. Just need to figure out what size. Don't suppose any of you know?
  21. That's a coincidence, I'm struggling with the same thing myself at the mo, trying to work out what I need to connect the oil line to my new turbo. This might help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN_thread http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_pipe_thread
  22. Are you using a cylinder head that was on an engine that over heated?
  23. The 6sp VVTi ones also say GT on them. (NAs are GE anyway. )
