  1. That's mental! How lucky was that! Or unlucky maybe, I can't decide
  2. I'll swap you my 6000k bulbs for your 4300k ones if you like.
  3. Well let us know mate. I'd be interested to hear your honest opinion. I've got 6000k in both my Supras and for me it's still too coloured. 8000k just looks silly to me. I don't want boy-racer colours, I want bright lights.
  4. Do you find the whiter colour better or no real difference?

Hmmm, it does look a little scabby on that bottom corner. What size memory card does it come with?
  6. On my car it meant the Speedo Converter was fitted incorrectly. Have you fitted any devices to the ECU wiring lately?
  7. "It makes it's peak power at 4100rpm" Surely not. Did you mean torque?

    Metal cable ties?

Really? Bugger, I've just ordered some too. Oh well.

    Metal cable ties?

Blimey you're right they're not cheap! Found some on eBay now, I never thought of using the word Stainless earlier - thanks.

  11. Anyone know where I can get some metal cable ties? The silicon coupler that connects the turbo to the IC pipe is very close to my exhaust manifold . I've got some heat resistant cloth stuff but I need the ties to secure it. Anyone know where I can buy some? I've tried eBay but didn't find any. Cheers

Nice car! Somebody has gone to a lot of trouble to make that look like a UK spec!

  14. Nah, if you had been doing 130mph you would have been home by then! Glad you're OK though mate.
  15. Here's a thing I wondered about from the start; Did both parents just say "Hey let's go out and leave the kids in bed"? Or was one of them saying it and the other going "Oh I don't think we should"? In which case I can imagine there being a LOT of recrimination behind closed doors. Assuming poor Maddy is never found alive (which I think most people expect now), my money is on the McCanns splitting up within the next 18 months.
  16. Steady on. They (Maddy's parents) took a chance that the kids would be OK left sleeping in their beds. What's that odds that something bad would happen? 1000 to 1? 100,000 to 1? Are they likely to ever fuck off out for evening and leave their remaining 2 kids alone again? No. ...so what good would taking the kids off them do? Would the kids be better off? No. Those parents made a terrible mistake, one that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Sending them to prison would serve no useful purpose and would be unfair to the surviving children. As for you hoping they "rot in hell" I think they will already be in a kind of hell for the rest of their lives, regretting what they did that night. That's more than enough punishment, in my eyes. nb Although they aren't doing themselves any PR favours with the 'private jet to see the Pope' business IMO
  17. My 93 RZ Auto BPU was in the 13s:1 under boost at 1.2bar. A new fuel pump fixed that but I'm just saying don't assume they're all running safely rich at high boost - get it checked. IN the tens is probably alright, below 10 is asking for trouble. If your AEM gauge is reading 10.0 the actual reading could be way lower because 10.0 is as low as the AEM UEGO gauge goes. If it was say 8.1 the AEM would still show 10.0

  19. I was gonna say that. I don't think the punto was even there.
  20. ...but not Stella. That's from Belgium
  21. It's bloody stupid though, isn't it? Windows 2000 and later can update the time automatically as long as you're connected to the net - but somehow it hardly ever works. In what other industry can somebody get to be the market leader with a product that doesn't work half the time?

Well I'll take it then, if you can do it for £250 delivered and as long as it's not in some funky raspberry/plum/avocado/aubergine or other vegetable/fruit colour.
  23. I've had the same problem Chris. Changing the CMOS battery didn't help (I didn't think it would really but was advised to try it) It's just a fact of life with ageing motherboards. Either live with it or change the MoBo (and various associated parts that are probably now obsolete) Not great news, I know, but that's my experience.
