  1. Blimey. That is good. I was getting 7mpg between stops at one point through Belgium. It would've actually been quicker to drive at 70mph and not have to keep stopping for gas (which is just as much a rip-off there as here).
  2. That is strange. Were you in the shower? Did you watch American History X on telly last night? j/k mate
  3. Yeah but the lardarse UK specs have that big fuel tank Heartworm is claiming like 435miles from 63Lts, rather than the UKs 80 litre tank.
  4. After all these years we're still doing the UK V J-car debate. Amazing really. I need to find another site to troll. I miss Dude.
  5. Well, when I was looking at spending 17-20k on a special Supra the thought of a UK spec never seriously crossed my mind. More power, more torque, sportier suspension, lighter weight, Recaro sports seats. It's a no-brainer for me. If I wanted a more luxurious Supra with soft suspension, bum warming seats (wtf is that about?) and headlight washers I suppose a UK is fine but who wants that stuff on a 'sports' car anyway? Don't get me wrong, they're fine cars, but equal with decent jspec 6sp TTs IMO.
  6. Worse how? Some power is better than SFA, which is what the stock system leaves you with as you're turning right in front of that bus.
  7. Start small and work up I guess I spose it's gonna be better than removing the whole thing howevermuch he removes.
  8. I nearly did say that last night. I can;t believe somebody didn't thinkj of it before.
  9. How do you know so exactly how many litres you used?

    TRD Widebody

Not sure about Kev's car. It's not like you're spoiled for choice for TRD Wides in the UK though. Maybe try the ever-so helpful fellas over at SF? I think these are 18" though Andrew. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=16351&d=1117835104

I think albundy68 has 18'' Work meisters on his TRD
  13. But don't do it if you have a VVTi - if you do the FBW throttle won't work.
  14. Would work at the slower speed. Or rather would all work at the speed the MoBo tells it to. If that speed is lower than (or equal to) the speed the RAM is rated for then no problem.
  15. If anyone wants it I've got an EmTac Bluetooth GPS receiver here with a dead battery. It works fine with the ciggylighter power cable attached but the battery inside it doesn't take a charge anymore. It may just need the rechargeable battery replacing, I haven't looked. Anyway, if anyone wants it it's yours for 50p. Would consider a swap for good condition NA (Sorry, no aerotops)
  16. Oh, I dunno then. I just took it at face value. Looked like an American scriptwriter's idea of a foreign nick to me.

Well bother with dinner before you go. Bazza always makes sure his guests get something warm inside them while they're there.

Not Michael Barrymore pestering you again? Oh, you don't mean Shilpa Popadom do you?
  19. OMG! That leather looks fantastic! I wouldn't have thought it would look any good if somebody described it to me, but seeing those pics - well that's just class.
  20. I'm thinking of polishing my car but I'm too idle to do it by hand. So I thought it would be a good excuse to buy another power tool! What do I need to look for? Obviously I don't want to spend a fortune but on the other hand I don't want some wanky underpowered thing that hardly works properly. Anyone recommend something? Also, what's the procedure for doing this mopping/polishing lark? I don't want to damage the paintwork! Cheers

  22. What a clever idea! I like your thinking
