Bah. I understand the theory but I still maintain that it is bollocks because (almost?) nobody can really do it consistently well IRL. IMO it's one of the bullshit things people talk about 'cos they think it make them sound like a driving god. (pro racing driving excepted, maybe)

Perhaps it will cheer up the miserable twat for a bit. PKB though. I've just undertaken an '07 BMW 530 at 130LPH because he wouldn't pull over. It certainly cheered me up when he tried to speed up to stop me getting out into the BMW lane in front of him.

Check your intercooler pipes. Especially the one down by the side of the battery.

James, If you look at the end tank design of the cheaper FMICs you will notice that the end tanks are very shallow and not great for efficient airflow through all of the core. Compare them with a higher priced GReddy or HKS intercooler and the difference is more apparent. (although GReddy do some poorly designed cheap intercoolers too) As said above, a Chris Wilson uprated SMIC is about the best you can get for any Supra up to probably 500bhp. FMICs do look nice though
