  1. I never leave mine running, even when not buying petrol. My local garage will not let you buy petrol if you don't turn the engine off.
  2. You filled it up, drove 95 miles then filled it again? And it only took 2.5 gallons to fill it?
  3. How do you know that you used 2.5 gallons? You filled it up before and after the 95 miles?
  4. I don't think it's working properly now though Lee. When you search for two or more words it does an OR search. ie. a search for threads with the key words banana and qwzxqw will return threads that contain the word banana but not qwzxqw. Is there a way to use the new search engine with boolean values?
  5. Yeah I know it's the same dyno but mine was only 18% drivetrain losses. Yeah, that sounds about right. The figures from hub dynos (eg the famous Thor one) are considered by many folks to be flywheel figures rather than hub or wheel BHP.
  6. Good peak power. Are you ok with it coming in quite late? I'm getting to prefer it that way myself now too. I like being able to drive off boost at lower revs but yours looks a maybe a little too late for my tastes. eg, it's not until 5500rpm that you're hitting 600Nm whereas a small single will be making 600 Nm by 4000rpm. 22% drivetrain losses. I take it the car is an auto then?
  7. Thinking about it Gaz 200psi is probably about right for a low mileage engine with stock head gasket. My 93 RZ was around 185-190psi per cylinder and that was at 80k miles.
  8. A turbo engine will det its arse off if the compression ratio is too high Jon.
  9. 200psi does sound a bit high for a TT. How are you checking it?
  10. Not as simple as that. The necessary profile depends on the width of the tyre.

  12. How do you mean 'metal'? Alloy is metal, isn't it?

  16. Hi. Nice first post. You sound very enthusiastic! I saw the thread title and though "OMG, it's going to be one of those posts". I was pleasantly surprised. Got any photos of the car yet?

  18. The gt4088 has a T4, aka T04, flange - so no problem there. The vast majority of them are have a vband exhaust fitment. Turbo Dynamics still have my GT60. Like you, they also told me a cheap price beforehand. They took the turbo for inspection and got back to me a few days later and were like "We can bodge it up for about £500 but there no guarantee it won't fail again. Or we can upgrade the internals for . . . . (they then started talking silly money and I stopped listening). Fitting the new turbo was a cakewalk. I did it myself in less than an hour. The re-mapping was done by Ryan G, took a few hours and was very reasonably priced. Put it this way, I gave him a 50% tip.
  19. I wouldn't bother Bry. When the bearings in my PHR1 GT60 turbo went it was actually cheaper to just buy another turbo. Much less hassle too. For a start you've only got to have it shipped one way and if they seller has it in stock you can have it in 3 days even if it's coming from the US. Something like a .81AR GT4088 would suit and at about £500 a pop they're practically disposal items.
  20. Thank dog for that! I thought I was going mad then
  21. What the hell? Tell me you photoshopped that attachment. I honestly haven't touched my Customer User Text for ages.
  22. *bzzzzt* wrong. I haven't touched it. I could book you an appointment with Kopite if you like though.
  23. How many zeros do think it should be?
