  2. If I bought a PS3 could I transfer HiDef video from my PC over my wireless network and onto the PS3 and play it on my TV? Or would I need to transfer the files on to something (SD Card, DVD, whatever) and then load it onto the PS3 that way? I have searched on the net but couldn't find the answer. Ashley Willis thinks it can be done but hasn't actually tried it yet. Can anyone confirm? Before I go and waste £400 Thanks
  3. Correct it then Gaz. I've edited the MkIV's wiki page myself before because it stated the TT had a bigger 2nd turbo.
  4. Those hyper links don't work Jo. Here you go: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=2648918 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=2648942 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=2648954 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=2649516 http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=2648966
  5. I think you're confusing the gt4088R with the non-R journal bearing turbo there Mike. I'm pretty sure Jamie has never had a 4088R, both his were plain 4088s. You can't really make comparisons between the housings of the two types because so much is different between them. I'm wondering if your ECU needs remapping for the new turbo. I know you said it's self-mapping but how well is it managing the ignition timing really? Can the V Pro really remap itself for a different turbo? It just seems unlikely to me, but I'm no expert. I don't believe the stock cams are a problem with the PHR1 turbo as it ran out power just the same on my car, which has 264/264 cams.
  6. You can change a thread title only if you do it before there are any replies.
  7. He already has covered most of it! Just left a bit at the sides. I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure Bry wasnt ginger the last time we had a beer together
  8. Fair enough, I guess. If I was going to that much trouble though I might well be tempted to go the whole hog.
  9. Holy shit Bry! That looks really sore mate
  10. That's about normal for Thor. What was it at the wheels at Marlin in Bletchley? That would be intesting. Cheers.
  11. Only 3.2? Why not go for 3.4?

    Who's got Sky HD?

Hi Shane, It's stated making a whirring noise a few weeks back. As far as I could tell it was the old 20gig HD because the fan in back of the case didn't seem to be running and there's no other moving parts I could see. I swapped the HD out for a 160gig PATA drive but it was way too noisy to live with. So I bought a new 160gig drive that was advertised as "virtually silent" but it was just as bad as the other one. We've just put up with it for the last couple of week because I'm pissed off with it now and don't know what else to try. Then the day before yesterday it just froze while recording something and had be unplugged for 5mins before it would work again, so I guess it's on its way out.
  13. .96 with a divided tang isn't big (or clever:)). .96A/R For a non-divided is quite large - but it's what I have on my non-DBB 4088 and it's fine, no problem with throttle response here.
  14. What does "UK Spec’d" mean? Is it a UK or a RZ?
  15. I notice Portsmouth's Matt Taylor isn't classed as a defender this season. He won't be getting so many points this season then. Last season he did really well in the midfield and also got the bonus points for a defender when they kept a clean sheet.
  16. I know there's a few Liverpool supporters on here. 0-0 at the mo.

  18. No, not like a cheque. A forged cheque will still appear to clear in your bank account but may be found out to not be genuine weeks later. A BD can be checked for authenticity in seconds at a bank. If you and the buyer go to the bank together and pay the BD in to your account before you hand over the keys/paperwork you will be safe. (As Gamer said)
  19. That's true and a bankers draught can be a forgery too. One of out members (Snowman Dave IIRC) lost his car to a forged BD and he wasn't even covered by his car insurance - because the car hadn't technically been stolen.
  20. How do you mean "Factor in my 8% drivetrain losses"? It works the other doesnt it? The 580rwhp was what was measured and the 630fwhp was calculated, wasnt it? Mine was at 1.4 bar with 264/264 cams but they wouldn't help the top end on an asthmatic turbo like the PHR1-GT60
  21. Excellent. I'll check it out - thanks!
  22. Looks like a nice setup. What gear do you need for that kind of quality recording Bri? How much are we talking about? I presume it's recording to a PC, is it?
  23. Same as bhp, near as makes no odds
