  1. And then they get the arse when people refer to Miami GT ! It's no wonder people don't know WTF is going is, is it?
  2. You know I mean Rob. I just use the AoS for any simile
  3. Heh. You wait until tomorrow then! Unless you've Ski'd before you're gonna ache in muscles you never knew you had! With water skiing you're (obviously) being pulled by your hands but the resistance is at your feet. So all your body in between is being stressed. If you're not used to it you'll ache like the ace of spades tomorrow.
  4. Are Miami GT still going then? Back in Feb Andy/Andy announced that "henceforth we will be RA Performance"? Am I the only the one that finds the Andy/Andy Snr business confusing? Why haven't they got separate userids? FWIW I've never bought anything from nouveau-MiamiGT/RA Performance/WhateverThey'reCalled. A colleague tried to spend money with them but they never replied to his emails. I may be wrong but if a company can't reply to emails before they've sold you something I don't hold out much hope that they will do so if you have a problem or complaint.

    Supra-star !

What are you basing that on? As far as I was aware the UK TC is as bad as the j-spec's
  7. Jake

    Supra-star !

a LOT better? Is that true?
  8. On the road, 1.4 bar all the time. I don't feel comfortable running more than 1.4 bar on pump fuel. I used to have my motec mapped to 1.7 bar but had to pull so much timing there was really no more power than at 1.4bar.
  9. Yeah the guy's really done his homework.
  10. They're just regular bulbs with blue shit on them. The blue crap actually reduces the light output. Besides, anything that claims "HID Upgrade" in the title when they clearly aren't is bound to be bollocks. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=954736

  14. That's normal. You could fit an adjustable DSC from either YELLR or Thor Racing if you want to get it spot-on.
  15. Yes but they've got teh BREMBO writtened on them!!!!1!

  17. That's odd, I could've sworn they were 17mm. Anyway, I used an offset ring spanner. Like this: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/OBJECTS/22000/21972.JPG
  18. Isn't that just a longer way of writing 116,995 ? Blimey though, houses are dirt cheap up there!
  19. I've just realised that you're talking about removing the engine rather than the gearbox. Same drill, just ignore the bit about removing the gearbox but still unbolt the TC from the drive plate (the auto version of a flywheel) and leave the TC in the bellhousing.
  20. Take the rubber cover off from the bottom of the gearbox, where it hangs below, and faces towards, the sump. Then undo the six 17mm bolts and remove the gearbox complete with the TC.
  21. I didn't say otherwise. I've seen their work and it's always very good. As it should be for the price. I'm not sure what your point is there mate. Or, more often, what the insurance company is paying for
  22. That's great if you want to spend 4k for a respray. For most of us the car just isn't worth spending that kind of money on though. It was all right for you because the insurance company paid for it all after your shunt at the Ace Cafe but if it was your own money would you really have paid for it to be done at GVN?
